A/N: So, I decided to publish this a bit earlier, and I'm not really sure if this needs something like a trigger warning. Please say if it does. This was written at school. We had to write a feature article for English. There were at least 15 given topics. What I chose, well, its stated in the title. I know I'm not really good at writing. So please pardon how I wrote this part. And if it does end up helping someone. I'll be so happy... and if any of you have friends that think suicidally. Or are suicudal. Help them. They need help. Okay, enough blabbering from the author.

How to help a suicidal friend?
Suicide is when someone kill themself. This is either because of depression, family problens, abuse, or feeling outcasted.
The main way to help a suicidal friend is to give them reasons to live. Like telling them that they are important or special in their own way. It may be their stories, the way they dance, their interests, etc.
Telling them that you are there for them no matter how horrible the situation he/she is in.
Tell them that someone cares about them. Tell them that their families care about them even if they think otherwise.
That you yourself care about them.
They may think of themself as weak, powerless or that they are lesser than everyone.
Tell them to speak to you about their problems.
That they need to open up to someone they trust.
If they reveal their problems, the burden that they carry will lessen, and it'll be easier to help since you now understand what they're going through.
Some committed suicide because of the amounts of stress, and because of being bullied.
Giving them a reason to live is most probably the closest way to helping them.
They might not change a lot, but they are still alive.
Each person has their own individual way of keeping their suicidal friend alive.
They might think that they have failed at life, when in reality, they just made mistakes and learned a bit more.
Tell them that their life can turn wonderful at any moment if they just gave a smile filled with hope.
