Once Upon a Time- Regina's daughter: Part 2

Regina

I decide to make Amber some pancakes and bacon for breakfast. She probably wasn't well fed when she was with Jasmine, so I make sure her first meal back provides enough nutrition to make up for what she lost during that time.

Amber comes downstairs, followed by Mallory, Belle, and Juliet. "I told you guys," she says, "I'm fine! Stop following me!"

"We just wanted to make sure you're okay," Juliet says.

"I believe she said she was fine," I say, "Now give her some space. Amber, your breakfast is ready."

She sits down to start eating just as the doorbell rings. I go over to answer it and find Caleb and Maggie standing there. A moment later I'm knocked off my feet. Caleb runs over and grabs Amber by the throat, choking her and pinning her to the ground.

"Jasmine sent us. She's controlling us with our hearts. I'm so sorry, Amber," he says.

Maggie stands between us and pulls out a knife. "Please, don't try to intervene, I don't want to have to use this."

A lightbulb goes off in my head. "Caleb! Do you love Amber?"

"What?"

"Do you love her?"

"Of course!"

"Then kiss her!"

"What?"

"Kiss her!"

Caleb takes a deep breath, then kisses Amber. She's not breathing, and I can tell she's only still alive because of true love's kiss.

"Keep kissing her! Don't stop! Juliet, you stay here. Belle, run to Gold's shop and steal a potion to turn someone good, then bring it to Jasmine's house. Mallory, come with me."

When we arrive at Jasmine's house, I turn to Mallory. "Alright," I say, "You go inside. Find a bucket, fill it with water, and throw it on Jasmine. If she's truly wicked, she'll melt, and we won't even have to use the potion. If she doesn't melt, she'll at least be distracted enough for me to tackle her."

I watch Mallory through a window. She gets the bucket ready without Jasmine noticing, but when she pours it on her, she doesn't melt. That's my cue. I rush in and jump on Jasmine, pinning her to the ground. Mallory uses magic to paralyze her just as Belle comes running in with the potion. "Good, now Belle, find the hearts and bring them to me."

Jasmine's muscles relax. That's how I know the potion worked. I get off of her and help her up.

"What happened?" She asks.

"That's not important. What's important is that you let Caleb and Maggie stop what they're doing."

Belle brings the hearts, and Jasmine releases the control. We go back to my house and find Amber sitting up, chatting and laughing with everyone else.

"Are you ok?" I ask, getting down on my knees and hugging her.

"Regina, I'm fine. This isn't my first time almost dying, remember?"

"Not funny," I say, and I help Amber up off the ground. For one moment, everything is fine. Then comes the tornado.
