Tiffany POV

"Mom I don't know how I am gonna handle this dinner. I can barely look the man in the eyes. How the hell am I gonna get through a dinner with him." I was on the phone with my mom telling her about how I saw Odell today. Melanie was in her room sleeping and the girls were here with me in my room. Trina was gonna be here one more day because Jarvis gets in soon and their condo was almost done.

"Well honey, you just gotta get through. And you are getting married so you have nothing to worry about. And if he hasn't noticed the ring on your finger so he should get the memo." Mom said. I looked at the girls who were listening because I had my mom on speaker. My mom wasn't the biggest fans of Odell after the break up. When he and I were together, they loved him always called him 'son' as if we were getting married, and that was what I thought was gonna happen, but clearly I was all wrong. Once O and I broke up I cried for 2 weeks straight and came home all the time to cry in my parents arms. They hated Odell because of how he broke their little girl's heart I guess.

"She ain't got her ring on." Brittany yelled into the phone.

"What do you mean you ain't got your ring on?" Mom scowled.

"It was really big so I got it fitted so they are getting another one made." I said.

"Does Trevor know?" Mom asked.

"Yes. He payed for it to be fixed." I said.

"Where is he anyway?" Trina asked.

"In Maine on business." I said. Trevor was a lawyer which meant he was always out on business trips. Depending on the time of year, sometime I would go with him as would Melanie (of course).

"When does he come back?" Mom asked.

"Uh, sometime next week I think." I said unsure.

"He is you're fiancé and you don't know when he's coming back?" Mom asked. Trina and Brittany nodded their head in agreement to what my mom had said.

"Look if all you guys are gonna do is criticize me then I am gonna hang up." I said chuckling.

"Sorry honey. Well I am gonna let you go. Its late, we still on Sunday dinner and next week for brunch?" Mom asked. I took a sip of my Meiomi wine.

"We sure are. The girls are coming too... that alright witchu'?" I asked.

"Absolutely!" Mom said excitedly. "Yes! The more the merrier honey."

"Alright. Its a date, see you Sunday."

"Ok. I am gonna let you go. Love you darlin'."

"Love you too. Kiss Daddy for me when he gets in from work." My dad was a police officer.

"Ok I will." Mom said as I ended the call. I sat my iPhone 6S phone on the table beside the my bed.

"I hope this dinner is gonna go well." I said to the girls.

"It will." Trina said. I picked up my MacBook Pro and continued making a sheet for the kids in my class to complete as the girls got comfy in my California King Bed resuming our episode of House of Cards that we were watching. The girls and I watched this show together as well. Even when we were all in separate states or whatever, we would do a three-way call and we would watch the show at the same time. We were more like sisters than best friends honestly.

Odell POV

"So then what happened, she just said yes to dinner?" Dad asked. I was sitting in the living room with him telling him about my interaction with Tiffany.
