"Kill him!" The crowd roared, hoisting up a battered and bruised angel-like being. "Spawn of darkness!"
The angel-like being looked up with pleading eyes, clothes torn, white wings scarred, and the white hair stained golden with Ichor-the blood of immortals.
In the background, Pixel pushed trough the crowd, trying to get to the being. "No! You are making a mistake!!!"
The crowd retaliated with spears of Soul Steel, the Creator's weakness, driving the creator back. In a flash of anger, Pixel stomped his foot-creating a small earthquake that knocked everyone to the ground.
One of the crowd members grabbed the angel-like being in a rough headlock, pressing a knife to his throat.
"Stay back, or he gets it!" The person hissed.
Pixel was forced back by another volley of Soul Steel, and-being unable to hurt anybody-got shackled with Darkstone, a Forbidden Metal used to dampen magic.
A much younger looking Alex was trapped in a cage, screaming and pounding on the bars. "Let him go!!"
The crowd got a rope, and looped it around the being's neck. Then, tying the other end to a iron bar, knocked him over to choke him to death.
"MARCUS!!!"

Pixel woke with a start, breathing heavily. It was the third time he had the same dream; it's as if Vensil is forcing him to psychologically give in. But the dream usually lasted longer than that.
A small fist knocked on his door, Crystal's small, slightly strained voice ringing out. "Daddy?"
Ah, so that explains why he was awake.
With a flick of his hand, Pixel lit a candle to illuminate the room. "Crystal? What are you doing still awake?"
Crossing the room to open the door, Pixel heard soft sniffling.
"I-I had a nightmare...." Crystal said, her small white feathery wings drooping down. Her skeleton dog Bones stood protectively beside her, ready to defend his master against whatever made her cry.
Heart melting, Pixel knelt to speak to her face-to-face. "A nightmare? Why don't we speak about this inside."
Crystal nodded, scooping up Bones and hurrying towards the bed; whatever that dream was, it looked like it spooked her. Pixel hoped that it wasn't connected to his dark side, but he couldn't be sure.
Sitting next to Crystal, Pixel wrapped an angelic wing around her protectively. "Now, do you want to talk about it?"
Crystal buried her face in his wing, and Pixel could feel her tears- mostly dried, but still there. "T-two people where there. One was a white haired girl in a dress, and the other was a dark haired boy in a rainbow-colored shirt. They where talking about something.... And it made my head hurt. They said that the 'Darkness' is coming, and that they are going to hurt us." Crystal sniffled, hugging her father tightly. "I'm scared..."
"Don't worry Crystal, it was just a dream." Pixel assured, hugging her back. "Try to get some more sleep, and remember: Giggle at the ghostie, guffaw at the grossly~"
Despite her recent nightmare, Crystal smiled and began to sing. "Crack up at the creepy, whoop it up with a whipee~"
Both of them continued softly, their voices flowing into each other in perfect harmony. "Chortle at the spookie, snortle at the goofie!"
Pixel chuckled, "See? Laugh the monsters away, just like Pinkie."
Crystal nodded, drying her tears. "When will mom come back?"
Pixel internally winced, "Very soon; she'll be back before you know it!"
Crystal nodded again, before looking up innocently. "Can I sleep here? I don't think I can sleep alone..."
Pixel smiled warmly, "Sure you can, just don't snore!" He teased, trying to ease the mood even more.
Crystal giggled, before curling up under the covers. Tucking her in, Pixel patted her softly. "Goodnight...."
But she was already asleep, escaping to wherever she goes when she dreams.
Laying down beside her, Pixel muttered under his breath; "If only life could be that simple...."

(A/N: The song that Pixel and Crystal sang was composed by Daniel Ingram, the songwriter of a show called My Little Pony:
Friendship is Magic. I do not own it, nor do I own the mentioned 'Pinky'. Thank you)
