Another Runaway Story

Chapter 6

After several hours of driving and silence, Jessica had a question for snake.
" why did you runaway?" Asked Jessica
" why would you want to know runt?" Responded snake
" geez I just wanted know more about you that's all ."
Letting out a sigh, snake started explaining.
" my parents and my sister died. They decided to go for a drive one night, I told them dont go before they left me with my uncle, Steven. It was stormy and roads were slick. I told them don't go" Jessica saw a tear to down snakes face and he continued.
" later that night, the news came on and reported a fatal crash with no survivors. They all died because they didn't put on a seatbelt and had a head on collision. I ran out the door without saying anything to my uncle. I went to the scene seeing the car mangled. My parents were outside of the car with they heads barley attached. My sister in a pool of her own blood in the back seat from where the glass impaled her. My parents were dead on the first hit. When I got there, the police tried to hold me back but I grabbed my sister before the EmT got there. Tears were streaming down her face and blood. She said she wants me to grow up and live her dream she never had. And in that time, she passed in my arms. After that day, I had to live with my uncle for 3 months until I runaway. He was a drunk that always took his shots at me. So I spiked his drink and I runaway. After a few days, that's when I ran into you."
"I'm sorry snake....." Said Jessica
" another thing.... My name isn't really snake. It's actually Stan Marley. Snake is what my parents called me."  Said snake
For a few minuets of silence, snake pulled over.
" we're stopping here over night at this lake, I'll get fire wood. STAY HERE, and lock the doors" said snake.
