It was a dark and quiet place for Vladimir. He had no idea where he was. He knew he had to get out. He used his small claws to break away at his confined place he was stuck in. There was suddenly a small sliver of something that was illuminating. That must have been good, so he viciously clawed more at the same area. He crawled out searching his surroundings through his barely opened eyes. There were other things just like him doing the same. He squealed as loud as he could, but made very little noise. The others followed. The only things he could make out was a small den in a mountain and the ground beneath. He looked up to see something glaring down at him. He stumbled over his tiny legs with another squeal. It must have been his mother, Ambrosine. His mother seemed very caring towards them. Vladimir was the runt and was usually rejected by his siblings which made him tougher physically and emotionally. He always had to fight for survival against his own family or else his siblings would soon devour every last scrap of food, so he had to learn quick. All dragons are born with some type of element power, depending on the parents. Vladimir's mom was fire and dad was water, so their offspring was earth. Well, almost all. Every one of his siblings had earth, but Vladimir was left without one. His father was killed in a battle against Ashur, the dragon God of war. Vladimir was only a hatchling when this tragedy happened so he never grew up with a father figure. His brothers would always play fight against each other and Vladimir would always end up getting hurt because of his petiteness. Decades later, he was finally around the same size of his siblings. He challenged the weakest of his siblings first, Achillios, just a few years before they'd be kicked out of Ambrosine's den. Once their wings matured and they could fly, they had to find their own territory. Achillios was still slightly larger and tougher than him. He got in his challenging stance and Achillios accepted. He pounced on him but was swatted and bounced back to the ground. He was born with the heart of determination and was not close to quitting. He jumped to the side of Achillios and over him then swiped at his side, inflicting a small amount of damage. After all, he was the most agile of his litter. He then jumped on his back and his his neck, but Achillios reared up slamming Vladimir to the rocky ground with Achillios weight on top. Achillios turned back around pinning him to the ground. He knew he had been defeated, but he had a small amount of try still within him. Achillios was obviously worn out and let up a little on Vladimir. Vladimir quickly hit him with a swipe of his wing making him flinch giving Vladimir the advantage. He then pushed him, sending Achillios sliding across the ground leaving cuts across his side. Some of the small pieces of sediments burned the cuts, with that being he only thing Achillios could focus on. Vladimir then bared his teeth, forcing his brother to surrender. This boosted Vladamir's confidence.
