It was getting to be the time for Vladimir to go out and get himself a mate. He wanted someone that could be just like him. Someone who had the power to fend for themselves and not depend on Vladimir. Someone who he didnt have to drag along and they could keep up with the pace that he goes at. Someone who would stay loyal to him and add to his power, not take away from it. He ventured off with MoMo staying within his land, to look for a mate. He went pretty far away, looking over the mountain tops trying to find someone that looked suitable for him. He eventually came across this one pink dragon with feathery wings near the border of his own and Armethius's side, staying hidden. She was fighting a dragon that was golden and slightly larger and bigger than her from Armethius's side. She seemed to be losing by a little bit, but he wanted to see how she'd handle it. She flew up spontaneously and hovered above him and a random dragon appeared which the pink dragon seemed to have summoned. The summoned dragon was a lot smaller and shimmery golden. She swooped back down with it following. The opposing dragon tried to move out of the way, but she was to quick for him. She landed in the spot where the dragon was before he moved but as she landed, she pounced on him. He laid there with her weight on him, heaving. He had given up. He cast a final ball of fire into the air. As it exploded, blue embers burst from it. She stood over her passed opponent with a confident stance, puffing as the fury slowly left her lungs and her expression softened. She limped away to somewhere as Vladimir followed. She eventually stopped at a mountain which must have been her den. To get inside, she had to climb up but she was too weak to so she just laid at the bottom of it.
"Do you think it's time to reveal ourselves?" asked MoMo.
Vladimir sat there thinking, "might as well."
"Want me to heal her?" MoMo asked smiling.
"SINCE WHEN CAN YOU HEAL?" Vladimir said in a yelling yet whispering tone.
"Oh yea I didn't tell you. Hey I can heal."
"Oh thanks."
"Well when was I supposed to tell you."
"When I met you."
"Oh... Well I can heal."
"Well I understand that now, stupid. Just do it."
"Right now?"
"YES GO. NOW. AKOOO!"
"Was that sneeze necessary."
"Well I'm sorry that I can't help it."
MoMo then cast a green luminescent ray towards her. She the arched her back and seemed to have life reenter her soul. She looked around shocked, then scampered into her den. "W-whos there?" she asked trembling.  Vladimir then stepped up and said, "Hello, I am Vladimir. I came with my...pet...MoMo. He was the one that healed you. I saw your fight and I was impressed by your ability and your comeback. Who and why were you fighting?" She said, "Oh, Im Kinnara. I was fighting an enemy Ive had for a while... His name was Bolt. Well he was my and Kelsis's enemy, but Bolt had... killed him." She had a quiver in her voice, but Vladimir didnt know if it was sorrow, from the fight, or frightened. "I might as well just tell you my whole story. Kelsis was my mate and Bolt and him were always enemies, I think their families hated each other. Kelsis died a few weeks ago and I dont know where his body is, or whether it was eaten or left to rot. The only reason I defeated Bolt was because Kelsis had greatly weakened him. They were both very powerful dragons. If Kelsis hadnt have trained me to be stronger and use maneuvers. You can tell how strong Kelsis was because Bolt was still so weak weeks after the battle with Kelsis. Kelsis was so loyal and cunning, he was protective yet trusting. He was a perfect image of the perfect dragon." Kinnara then lowered her head seeming to start thinking about him. Her expression seemed to sink, getting lost in her own thoughts of her passed mate. Vladimir was shocked with how much she had been through while still manage to stay emotionally stable, for the most part. It started to sprinkle, transitioning into a storm. Kinnara laid down covering her muzzle and face seeming to lose herself in emotion and the thought of a lost one, not being able to do a single thing about it except for keeping him in her thoughts. The drops of rain seemed to resemble how she felt. The sky conveying her mind and thoughts. Or was it Kelsis in the dragon heaven weeping with her, feeling the same despair and depression. He was unable to be with her and the only way to somewhat be with her was to seem to feel the same as her. She then began to breathe heavy trying to keep herself together. The drops of sorrow from above ran down her body making her shiver, too.  Vladimir laid beside her and used his wing to shield her from the rain. She looked up at him frowining, as if she was transferring her entire mind to him. She laid her head back down and began to try to fall asleep. Vladimir may not have known her, but he felt a fraction of her swirl of emotions and could feel her internal misery. He stayed up all night until the storm passed to make sure she slept fine. Lighting also struck him while she was asleep. Vladimir was so glad he protected her, since his element was lighting and it actually enlivened Vladimir. If it had struck her, she may have been permanently weakened.

Morning came and Vladimir looked down at her. She was still shivering as if she was freezing. He told MoMo to stay with her. He went to quickly go to Promethius's side and gathered some of the humans sheep from their farms. He was tempted to devour them, but knew he had needed them for Kinnara. He had gotten worn out from flying at top speed, but he had to keep going. When he got back to her, he skinned the sheep and laid the wool all around her. On her other side, he snuggled up to her and put his wing around her. She began to slowly stop shivering and slept better. He got MoMo to wake him up in a few hours.
