As Vladimir was resting, he heard an echoing roar. He awoke MoMo by poking him with his long, curved claw. There was a cerulean shiny dragon flying towards his den.
"Hello, I am Serpentine, I am one of your side. I have come to inform you that the sorcerer dragon Lucifer has formally challenged you. He lives on Prometheus's side in a castle that he calls his."
"Where is this castle exactly?"
"He has a white beacon coming out of the top of his castle. If you just fly straight, you'll eventually see it."
"Thank you for informing me, Serpentine. I will see about it."
The moment after Serpentine left, he went straight away. He followed Sepentines instructions, and eventually saw the beacon. Vladimir remembered when he entered Armethius's side and Armethius was there to guard and question what Vladimir was doing, along with a greet. When he entered Prometheus's side, he was not to be found. Maybe he just didn't care as much about his territory... He asked one of Lucifers companions if he was there, but he ran off. There was a gaping hole on the top of his castle. He gazed in and saw Lucifer laying on the ground, hurt and vulnerable.
"I heard that you have challenged me. Is this true?"
All Lucifer did was let out a groan. Vladimir felt bad, but he has been challenged, so he must destroy him and his home. He went to tackle him, but a green forcefield stopped him, sending him back. It didn't hurt him much at all, but he still got angry and cast his Chain Lightning spell. His castle crumbled, leaving Lucifer laying in the rubble of his own past home. He was now for sure dying with a shocked expression.
"The darkness, not me. Not me. Trickery. Lies. Leaving, stillness. Betrayed. Flashing. Can't seeee..."
His last breaths left his mouth, as he slowly ascended, joining the dragon Gods and fallen past warriors. Vladimir went back to his home, followed by another rest. Another dragon, a few days later, came to speak to Vladimir.
"I am Percy, the previous leaders brother. I am not lying, I promise."
He did resemble Grypp very much. Same voice, same appearance, same personality, so he trusted him.
"Serpentine was lying. He is a messenger of Antaeus. Antaeus is part of Prometheus's side, and doesn't have the best of morality. Lucifer was one of Antaeus's enemies. The reason he was hurt was because Antaeus had sent his troops to try and kill him. He sent Serpentine to try and get you to finish him off because he knows you have the strength, and his plan worked. If you defeat him, you'll gain at least a quarter of his power. I'm sorry if I interrupted you, but this was an urgent message."
"Thank you very much for your message, I am grateful for you." Vladimir responded.
He knew he probably couldn't defeat Antaeus by himself because of how clever he seemed. His power must match his intelligence, but he may as well investigate Antaeus.
