"You want fries with that?" I snapped.
It's been a long day and I wasn't in the mood to deal with thirsty customers. His smirk dropped and he swiftly left the store as he grabbed his bag. I've been working at Sally Beauty, in the downtown Macy's mall for about two months now. As soon as I turned 16 I started looking for a job. I liked the location and the pay was really good. Plus, I got along with most of the people who worked here. But, sometimes customers had a knack for unleashing my attitude. Most days there's really no problem but today, I was exhausted and I really can't stand being hit on for the hundredth time today.
"Hey Bella" I twirled around to see Brianna's smiling face.
"Oh hey Bri!" I lit up. Thank the lord I don't have to finish this shift alone.
" You're still here hun?" She asked.
"Yeah, but I get off in two hours" I cheered.
"It's already 7 though, are you picking up extra shifts?"
I nodded as she shook her head.
" Your going to work yourself to death with the way you're going" Bri muttered.
"I'll be fine, plus it's only this week." I replied. She smiled for an 'okay' then went to restock some shelves. The door bell rang signaling a customer. "Welcome to sal-" I looked up to see my best friend Rachel, glide through the door. "Rach!" I screamed.
"Bells!" She ran to me with open arms. She gave me a hug and squeezed.
"What are you doing here? I thought we were gonna meet up at Starbucks tomorrow?" I exclaimed.
"I know! But I haven't seen you since school on Friday, since you've been working so much this week so I decided to come here!" She said.
"Well I'll be finishing in a little while so you can keep me company" I replied with a smile as she proceeded to tell me the day's gossip.

I hastily finished my dinner and ran up the stairs to my room. I jumped on my bed after I grabbed my phone. I replied to the texts from Rach, plus my friends Cassie and Jake. Suddenly my brothers burst in my room and almost gave me a heart attack.
"Can I help you dorks? I thought I made clear I don't talk to my fans after hours..." I smirked.
"Haha you wish, we need you to come play football with us, we're short one person." Jeremiah, the oldest stated. "And no we can't even ask Nya because she went out with mom. "
"It's nine o'clock at night! who's even playing with you locos?!"
"Well me, Jer and dad." Zachary, one year older than me replied tugging my arm to make me stand up. I said nothing and just started at them.
"Come on Bells, please! You're gonna be on my team." Jeremiah pleaded with wide eyes.
"Fine, anything for my fans"
After that it was lot's of running and 'pass here, Bells Pass'. My brothers were amazing football players, quarterback and linebacker of the Varsity Football team at Wakefield High. I guess it passed down to them, since my dad played in college. Jeremiah was a senior and he is looking to hear from a few colleges and finishing applying for a couple more. He wanted to follow in the footsteps of my dad and play pro too. I think Zach may have other plan though. My dad now works as a sports Journalist.
"Bella Analise Carter! If you don't pass that ball to me right now! Zach is coming for you." Jer screamed. I passed it to him and went down with a thud.
"Bella, you okay?" Zach asked as he rolled off me. "Sorry about that"
"I'm fine, I'm fine"I grunted. I looked up to see Jer whooping around like crazy . "We won? Oh my god, we won!!!" Jer ran to me and picked my up.
"We did it Bells, we did it!" He twirled me around.
"Bella, are you okay honey?" My dad asked, concered. I fiercely nodded as my brother carried me home. I was covered in dirt, because of Zach's tackle but it was fine because me and Jer won.
I dreamt of tackles and defenses as I slumbered though my sore muscles. I guess this was what living with two brothers meant, but I loved every second of it.
