Jason's pov

As whenever something bad happens, to keep my mind off it, I throw myself into my work. Mike sets my tour up and me and the girls head out. Kasi sleeps most of the drive to our first tour stop. I wasn't sure where we were at but when Roy, our driver, calls for a rest, I instantly recognize the bar. "Jason, this is where we first met." She says, holding my hand and laying her head on my shoulder. "Why don't we go relive those memories." She jumps off and runs to the bar. I watch her through the window. "Going for a drink. Hey Tully keep an eye on Kasi for me." "You got it." I step off the bus and walk to the bar. I see my girl sitting at the bar, her back to me. I smilingly walk over and grab her around the waist. She turns around with a big smile. We share a long passionate kiss. "I don't remember this being how it played out." She whispers, our foreheads together. "I remember this being how I wanted it to go." I say, smiling. She leans against the bar. "Ten rounds of José cuervo." She says. "Oh since when did you-" "That was the song that was playin' when you first talked to me." She says. I smile. I tell the DJ to play that song. "What were you doing in a bar in Alabama anyway?" I flirt, kissing her then pulling her onto the dance floor. "Maybe I was looking for you." I laugh a little and spin her around. "And I lost count and started countin' again." I love this song. After the song goes off, we sit at the bar and get a couple Coors lights. "Cheers to the nights we don't remember and the friends we won't forget." I say, clinking our beers together. We get back on the road and make it to the tour stop which is Kentucky. "I'll see ya later, darlin'." I say, heading for soundcheck.

Miranda's pov

I stay with Kasi and Jenna while Jason does soundcheck. I'm glad Jenna is homeschooled so they could come on tour with us. "Hey Miranda, can you help Jenna with her work. I can't see to help her." I smile and hug her. "Of course Kasi." I sit beside Jenna. She's working on math.

I rip the last cord on my guitar. "Sounds great boys. Tonight's gonna be amazing!" Mike shouts, clapping. I smile and hand my guitar off. I sit down, trying to catch my breath. "Phew now I'm winded." Tully sits beside me. Dee Jay walks over. "Hey Jason, come check this out." He says. I stand back up and walk with him, backstage. Aww. Miranda's helping Jenna with her schoolwork. She looks so adorable. It's going on our four month anniversary. After the show I'm gonna do something special. It's time I asked her the big question that has been weighing on me for a while.

Jenna hugs me. "Thanks for helping me, Aunt Miranda." My eyes go wide, my face reddening. Technically I'm not her aunt since me and Jason aren't married. "Just call me Miranda, sweetheart." I say, ruffling her hair. I hear the familiar sound of Jason's cowboy boots walking over. He sits in the chair Jenna was just sitting in. She makes the pick me up motion so Jason sets her in his lap. "After the show tonight, I was thinking me, you, Luke, and Rachel double date. I've got this place in mind." I smile and nod. "I can't wait, Jay." I say, standing up and kissing him. He wraps an arm around my waist, the other gripping the table in surprise. My hands against his cheeks. I pull back and he stares at me shocked. I laugh a little and walk toward the bus.

Oh man, I'm totally going after her. I set Jenna by Kasi. "Don't go nowhere." I say. She nods and yawns. Laying her head in Kasi's lap. "Where are you going?" Kasi asks, putting a hand on Jenna's head. Uh..... What do I say. "To the bus. I uh..... You'll be okay right?" "Yeah. Just don't leave the area." "I would never leave you here alone Kasi." I say, hugging her. I run to the bus quickly. "Hey Bama where ya hidin'?" She grabs my shoulders. "I don't hide." She whispers in my ear. "I sit and wait to attack." I laugh and turn around, picking her up around the waist. "You know what's tomorrow?" She whispers as we kiss. "Our four month." "Oh you remembered?" "Yep, that's why I said we're going out tonight."

*later*

I get off the show, breeze through a quick shower and change into nicer clothes. I tell Luke my plan and for some reason my nerves are shot. "Why are your hands shaking?" He gasps, laughing. "I don't know. I guess tonight's the night my life changes forever." I say, sarcastically and seriously annoyed with his teasing. "She's gonna say, yes you know that." Then why am I so nervous? The girls get off the bus. "Where are we going?" Rachel asks. Luke nudges my shoulder. "Oh uh... This new Italian place I saw comin' in." I mumble, pulling my keys out of my pocket. She holds my hand. I smile and lace our fingers together. I love this girl more than life. I'm glad we met. She settled me down. And now it's time for us to settle down. We get to the resturaunt. I don't really care what we get so I got what she got which was spaghetti. The mariachi band was playing a fast song but I snuck over and got them to play a slow song and as I sat down I dropped the ring in the spaghetti. My face gets even more red as I clean it off. Luckily the girls are distracted talking to each other. Luke gives me a look. "I'm doin' it." I mouth to him. He smiles. "Hey Rach, let's go down the street to the bar." Damn him. They leave. "Hey Jay you okay? You look tense." My hands are hidden under the table. The ring held tight in my fist. She walks around and sits beside me. Oh damn. "Are you okay, Jason?" "I uh yeah..... I wanna ask you a very important question."

Why is Jason so nervous? "Hit the lights." He calls to someone. Someone turns the lights down low and the candles are lit. "The past four months have been the absolute most amazing time of my life. I never thought I'd be the kinda guy to get in a long term relationship but man I've never been happier than when I'm with you. You helped me settle down." He holds my hands. What's going on? He moves a hand to my cheek, the whole resturaunt silent. He kisses me. "Close your eyes." He says. I do as he says and I hear him stand up. "Ok open them." I do and my eyes go wide, shocked. "Will you marry me?" Tears come to my eyes. "Oh Jason yes!" I gasp hugging him. "I love you so much." He whispers. The patrons clap for us. He slips the ring on my finger. "You make me the happiest girl alive." I whisper wiping the happy tears from my eyes. "I'm a lucky man." He says, kissing me passionately. We get back to the bus. I was about to walk up the steps when he carried me up the steps bridal style. "I'm gonna love you like there's no tomorrow." He whispers, kissing me then laying me down on the bed.
