this is from dA, the first fanfic I ever made (no shit)
I edited some few parts because it was a bit shitty.[A/N]: If you are reading Strip Me and Forty-Nine Days, I am terribly sorry I won't be updating this first week. Writer's block is killing me.
It was a dark night, Koushi and I just finished watching documentaries about some of the most inhumane treatments given to dogs here in Asia. It was so heart-wrenching for the both of us so we decided to stop. Stupid people killing dogs. It's so sickening.
We were lying down in his hospital bed. The quietness and stillness of the environment may look cold and lonely but Suga's here with me. The warmth of his body enveloped me and made me feel comfortable.
I looked at him, gently stroking his arm, as he hummed and caressed my cheek, "Koushi," I tried to muster enough strength so that my voice won't break, "do you think everything will stay the same after what will happen tomorrow?" I inched a little to his chest, taking up his scent and warmth, and exhaling as I clutched his shirt. Smiling tenderly, he grabbed my hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.
"As much as I want to say yes, there are certain things that'll change. After all, change is inevitable, right?" he said, stroking the base of my thumb. Oh, I couldn't help it anymore, the uncertainty of tomorrow brought me into tears."You're so mean. I thought you'd be saying something like, 'Oh love, everything will be fine.'," I mumbled as I clutched his shirt. He let out a chuckle before wiping the tears on my cheeks.
"[Name]."
If I could describe his voice, I would say that it was perfectly concocted by a higher being. A dash of playfulness, A pint of honey mixed with mint, A gallon of protectiveness, and a dam full of happiness. There were other factors that made it so unique. It's oh so beautiful and very refreshing.
"Yes, Koushi?" I lifted my head to meet his loving gaze.
"I love you no matter what. I won't be leaving you, okay?" He smiled those pearly whites and it feels like it was the smile that could stop war, end all famine, poverty. Heck, it could even stop time. It won't ruin any momentum because it was an unstoppable one.
"No matter how many people I see who'll bring us down, ridicule us, I won't be leaving your side. You are more valuable than anything or anyone in this world to me." I sniffled then proceeded to continue, "Even if you do something stupid in the future, I will still love you." Idiot, I won't be leaving you. You are far too important for me to ever leave you. I hummed a lullaby as I wrap my arms around him.
He kissed the top of my head,"Your voice is so beautiful. I can't wait to hear it every single day."
I am really grateful that it is dark, he wouldn't see me blush from what he had said. I also couldn't wait to hear your angelic voice every single day of my life.
The sound of the crickets from the nearby park filled the silence and gently lulled me into sleep.

Hearing the door open, the smell of disinfectant rushes into my nose. I'm sick of this smell, it makes me want to vomit but I guess that would make me end up confined here.
"L/N-san, please wake up right now." Koushi's nurse, Ayumi, proceeded to get the food tray that was empty.
Shit. That could only mean one thing.
