Sam's POV
-2:00 pm-(this is when I usually get out of school...btw their in middle school)
School is finally over and I walked back home listening to music to keep me company. Once I got home I went straight to my room. I was in my room about to text Larry but I heard a knock on the door. I ran downstairs and looked through the peep hole to see Larry putting his nose up to the peep hole since he knows I always look through their. I opened the door and he immediately came in. Me and Larry walked upstairs to my room some could study. "Okay Larry. What's the assignment." I said sitting on my bed.
Larry came over and sat in front of me but left his book bag on the floor.
Larry: "Can we just hang out right now..I don't want to do work!"
Me:"Larry you have to get this done, we can hang out after, my mom doesn't get here until 6:00"
My mom doesn't like me hanging out with Larry because she thinks he is a bad influence on my school work and is a distraction. So we have to hang out when she's not home.
Larry:"Okay. But after can we dance a little?"
Me and Larry love to dance. That's mainly how we became friend, but he's crazy good! Better than I'll ever be. Well him and Laurent both.
Me:"Okay Larry we can dance after but let's get your work done first okay?"
Larry:"*sighs* fine."
••5:45pm••
After Me and Larry were done with his homework,watching tv, and goofing off a bit.Me and Larry walked downstairs and I got my speakers so we could dance. Larry was so eager to dance. But I loved how he was so involved in it.
Larry:"So here's what we're going to do. We're both going to take turns dancing and the other gets to watch. Cool?"
Sam:"I guess but-"
Larry:"Sammy! Let's just do it!"
Sam:"Fine. But you first."
I got my phone and hooked it up to my speaker.I asked Larry what some he wanted to dance to and he said Chris brown "Wrist" I turned on the song and watched him dance his butt of! Larry truly had a passion for dance and he hit every beat in the song.Once Larry was done I sat their with my jaw to the floor. He was awesome.
Sam:"Bravo!Bravo!" I said clapping and laughing as if he was actually on a stage.Larry took a bow and we both laughed at each other."Alright!Alright!Now it's your turn."Larry said going toward my phone. "Ugh" I got up off the couch hesitating and sighing. "What song?"Larry said.

"What Song?" I said waiting for Sam to reply. I heard silence and then I turned around to see Sam looking down playing with her fingers."Sammy you good?" I said walking toward her.
Sam:"Larry can I tell you something?"
Larry:"anything Sammy."
Sam:"I'm scared." *Looking down*
I always knew that Sam was insecure about herself , even when it come to body image. She told me that she was always insecure and ever since then I've always questioned why. She's an amazing person, why is she so upset with herself?
I sat on the couch and turned myself so my side was on the back of the couch. I patted a spot in front of me so that she could sit there. She walked toward the couch and sat in front of me, once she sat down I grabbed her hands.
Larry:"Sammy look at me.I know you aren't happy with yourself but you need to be confident in yourself. Your funny and you know how to keep someone company."
Sam:"But is that all I'm worth"
*As a tear rolled down her face.*"The only reason people hang out wit me is because the want a laugh. And it's not just that I'm not happy with myself. It's just that...I..um..never mind."
Larry:"Sammy what's wrong,you tell me everything."
Sam:"Well it's just that...all the girls are so pretty and I'm...I'm not."*looks down*
Larry:"*lifts her chin*Sam, can I tell you something?"
Sam:"what?"
Larry:"Your beautiful and you are better than those other girls. They are all fake.But you..your differnt,special,original.You dress the way you want, and act the way you want. You don't wear heels and dresses everyday. You wear sweatpants and converse with flannels. Your you, and I think that's special"
Sam:"you really mean that Larry?"
Larry:"would I ever lie to you?"
I looked in Sam's big brown eyes and got lost in them. I never noticed how beautiful she was.I felt both of us coming face to face when the front door swung open....
