"Larry I'm fine really.See?" I said trying to smile but the pain still hurt.
"Sammy look at me in my eyes."Larry said holding my chin.
Me and Larry just stared at each other, looking into each other's eyes.
"Larry..I-I'm f-"
"Spit it out sam."
"I...i ...ran into a poll!" I said scratching my head.
"The truth..."Larry said with a stern and serious look on his face.
"Larry...I...got jumped by those....those girls..."I said as I played with my fingers crying.
"Sammy...I...I'm so sorry..come here"
I sat beside Larry and he wrapped his arms around me. Making me melt in his arms. He was always like a big brother to me making me feel special, I would've never thought I would feel this way about my best friend.. Never. Larry gave me this look,This look of protection,it's like his eyes were telling me he would keep me safe, and I loved it.
"Sammy..?"
"Yes Larry." I said looking up into his eyes.
" I will always protect you. Why didn't you tell me the first time."
"I...I don't know Larry...the truth is I just...um... I lov.."
The door swung open with Laurent standing in between it...
"Hey Sammy, you good?" Laurent said walking toward us. While Larry let go of me.
"Yea I'm fine Laurent."
"Laurent I was talking to her! Get out man. You don't even knock anymore?"Larry said getting up pushing Laurent out the door.
"Sammy I'm sorry...what were you telling me?" He said sitting back down wrapping his arm around me
"I um was going to say...th..thank you."
"Sammy. You remember when we used to fight all the time and you would always get mad at me?"
"Haha yea!"
"And you remember the friendship bracelet I gave you on Valentine's Day."
"Yea I still have it." I said making him look at my wrist."
Larry looked at me shocked. He suddenly smiled and stared at it.
"You..you never..lost it?"
"Never Larry. This is special to me."
Me and Larry stared until we both leaned into each other. Forehead to forehead. And before I knew it our lips touched.
We looked at each other and smiled. I blushed and couldn't stop.
"Sammy can i tell you something?"
"Anything Larry."
"I love you."
" I love you too Larry." I said gripping onto his hand.
