Mia's Pov
*next day*

"Can you pass this to Derek please?" I whisper to the girl behind me.

"Sure" she takes it and passes it to the boy behind her then it continues until it gets to Derek.

He opens up the note and smiles. I bite my lip and face the front of the class.

I feel a tap on my shoulders a few seconds later. I look back and see the note in my face. I jump back a little from how close it was to my face. I grab the note and start opening it up.

Mia: hey D. Want to hang out with me afterschool??

Derek: I'm down baby

Mia: it's so hot when you call me baby.

I fold the note back up and was about to pass it back when mr. Horel snatched it out of my hand.

"What do we have here? Mia would you like to read this note out loud for the whole class to hear?"

I know what mr. Horel is doing trying to embarrass me but it's not gonna fucking work.

"Yes I would love to" I smile

He looks at me surprised at my response.

I get up and stand in front of the class. I unfold the paper and start reading.

" hey D. Want to hang out with me afterschool??
I'm down baby
it's so hot when you call me baby." I smile sitting back down in my seat

"Derek and Mia see me after school an hour detention both of you"

I just smirk and fall asleep for the rest of class.

The bell rings and I shoot my head up waking up from my 1 hour nap in class. I grab my backpack and mr. Horel comes up to my desk and hands me a pink slip with the bold letters DETENTION SLIP on it. I crumble it up and throw it on the floor. I start waking to Derek's desk while mr. Horel hands him the same slip i got seconds ago.

"Good going Mia!"

"Hey shut the fuck"

"I'm messing with you-" he leans down to whisper "baby" in my ear. I smile and step back.

"Stop you tease!" I slightly push him back

"See you after school in detention" he says waving his pink slip

"See you later" I laugh

U guys I needed a filler because I haven't posted for like 2 weeks and I just came back from LA today! And my phone was dead after the flight! And I had no wifi on the flight! But yes I'm here and better then ever! Nah jk. But also sorry for this really really sucky chapter I came up with it in like 15 minutes.!
