Jacob Perez

I tried opening my eyes but they burned trying to adjust to the light I looked around the room and it was empty .

"Finally your awake you were out for basically the whole school day" Kacy said I was shocked that she came with me

"T-thanks f-for h-helping m-me " I said my throat burned when i talked I started coughing and I couldn't stop . Kacy quickly gave me the water on the table besides the bed and I gulped it down

"Than-" Kacy cut me off

"-Jacob you don't have to thank me " she said she pulled the chair from the corner of the room and put it besides the bed so it faced me and she sat down .

"So your the poor one " Kacy said playing with her fingers and I didn't reply

"I'm not making fun if you Jacob " she said looking me in the eyes

"It's okay" it did hurt to be known as the poor one

"Jacob I want to help you " she said and that made me frustrated

"WHY THE FUCK DO YOU WANT TO HELP ME ? DO I LOOK LIKE SOME TYPE OF CHARITY ?" I screamed Kacy flinched

"Jacob calm down I just want to help you " Kacy said

"NO YOU DON'T YOU JUST WANT TO USE ME AND TELL YOUR SISTERS AND HER FRIENDS ABOUT ME !" I screamed back I refused to let her know anything about my life

"You know what Jacob I came in here to help you because I'm a good person do you really think I'm like that bitch and her sluts ? Are you serious Jacob I didn't have to help you could've went to class you know what fuck you Jacob !" I was shocked Kacy got up to leave but my mother burst through the door

"Jacob ¿ estás bien ? Bebé lo que pasó ?" My mother asked

"I'm fine I fell down the steps " I replied

"Jacob Perez no mientas a mi lo que pasó?" My mother asked again

"I TOLD YOU I FELL DOWN SOME FUCKING STEPS " I screamed

"You will not lie to me Jacob I'm going to your school tomorrow " she started crying I hated when my mom cried

"Thank you so much for helping Jacob " she said hugging Kacy

"It wasn't a problem Ms.Perez " she said grabbing her bag

"Where are you going ?" My mother asked

"I'm going home " Kacy said

"Ill drive you home " My mother said since when did my mom have a car

"My co worker Lisa is taking us home " my mom said answering my question

"Ms.Perez it's fine ill just take the bus " Kacy replied

The doctor walked Into the room

"Hi I'm Dr.Clark you must be Ms.Perez , nice to meet you . Your son Jacob has some minor injuries he should fine but shouldn't be at school he has 2 stitches in the back of his head His ribs should be sore due to the contact . He has a sprained rib and the swelling of his eyes and lips went down but keep ice on it so the bruises can go away and right now we have to get X-Ray for his nose the nurse should be here " Dr.Clark said

The nurse came in and helped me into his wheel chair

The doctor begin talking to Ms.Perez and of course I listened I was worried about Jacob he shouldn't be living like this . They shouldn't be living like this it wasn't fair .

"Well his bill would come up to 5,000 if we have to Fix his nose " Dr.Clark said

"Oh my how am I going to pay 5,000 I already owe money " Ms.Perez said rubbing her temples

"Have you tried to get health care ?" Dr.Clark asked

"Yes they keep decli-" I cut Ms.Perez off

"-I'll help you pay for it its not a problem " I said

"Oh no sweetie I can't let you pay you already helped by saving my sons life and I can't let you pay it's a lot of money " she said

"No it's fine I'll just go to the Bank and ill will pay the bill I have the money " I said

"Okay so your paying I'm cash ?" Dr.Clark asked

"Do you take credit cards ?" I asked

"Yes " Dr.Clark replied

I went to go pay the bill when I came back Jacob was already dressed in clothes

And we went into Ms.Perez Co worker car Jacob wasn't allowed to sit up due to his sprained rib so his head was laying on my lap he fell asleep and I checked my phone no one was worried about me . The car ride was quick I helped carry Jacob into his apartment he just so happened to live in the same apartment I used to live in before my parents became rich yeah I used to live in Compton California there was only one bedroom I helped Jacob lay on the bed

"Thank you so much Kacy I owe you so much " Ms.Perez

"It's fine " I said

"Lisa is still downstairs " I didn't need Lisa to drop me off I would take a cab

"It's fine I'll take a cab home " I said

"Are you sure ?" I nodded replying to Ms.Perez

"Oh and please call me Teresa " she said

"Okay ........bye Teresa " I said and Teresa hugged me

I called a cab and went home

I was happy that I could help people in need
