~G-Dragon POV
I stared down at the alley looking for a victim. Someone I could rip my claws into. Someone who's blood would ooze through my fingers and flesh would get stuck under my nails, only for me to later curse at the mess it made.
This alley was frequented often by many thugs and prostitutes but tonight it was strange. I had sat in the shadows on the crates in the shadows gazing down for three hours straight searching for a victim yet... None had passed. Not a soul, Human or otherwise.
I was about to give up and go when I saw a little girl enter the alley. She was young maybe 6, she seemed lost and scared. She hastened her pace and gripped her shoulders. She must be cold. A tugging sensation filled my chest as I observed the girl as she made her way through the alley.
I followed her and a few seconds later noticed a man tailing her as well. He was tall, Around thirty years old and was holding a knife. I knew exactly what he planned. I hastened my pace ready to attack when he grabbed the girl and placed his knife on her throat.
"Stay quiet." She had frozen in terror. That's when anger enveloped me, feeling the flames flare up and I attacked.
At full force he didn't stand a chance. But this time..... Well this time I felt anger. I felt protective of this girl, she seemed so innocent.
I felt my flames burn him and projected my force towards the girl hoping to shield her. She got up and ran from the mans burning, lifeless body. She stopped at me and looked in my eyes. I felt no fear. Just... Gratitude. I felt her arms wrap around my waist and I realised that my flame must have died down. I lifted her up and I took her in my arms whispered to her.
"Let's get you home." I could smell her scent from the way she entered the alley, I followed it to a house. "Go inside and go to sleep." She did as I said and I made myself a silent vow.I will keep watch over you. No matter what I'll make sure your safe, till the day I die I will protect you with my life.
