" Number 148, please report to the Dressage Arena. Number 148, please report to the Dressage Arena." The announcer's monotone voice blasted over the speaker, calling Cavallo and I to the ring. Bailey came over from the trailer to wish me luck.
" Mia, remember, Cav likes to stop during the piaffe, keep him going just like you did on Monday." Bailey patted my knee and I cued Cavallo to walk.

The music to my selected song started blaring through the speakers and the gate attendant nodded his head. I nodded back and urged Cavallo through the gate and halted at X. I salute to the judges, smile, and begin my pattern.
