Chapter 12: Best Friend

Ken's  P.O.V.

It's been 2 weeks since Jenny and I talked , Am I the one ignoring her or she's just busy with that guy "Jake Gunderson" as she says to weeks ago. Well every girl had a crush on Jake Gunderson, He's popular, handsome as every girl says but I think I'm more handsome than him (complimenting myself). I wonder why she chose Jenny out of the girls that has been falling in love with her. I know that Jenny is a sweet and caring girl, simple yet beautiful. She knows whether I'm sad or not, she knows how to lighten up the mood even if there are dark auras you feel around you. I have known her since the 1st grade. I was alone in an empty corridor eating my lunch, then there's this girl who just came to me and wants to taste my food, I was shocked that time because out of nowhere there's this girl who wants to taste my food.  So I just handed her the half of my grilled cheese sandwich and she just happily took it. After she ate the sandwich that I gave her, she said thank you. She asked what my name is. I just ignored her that time because I am sort to be a loner that time. That time after school I was waiting for mom to fetch me, there she is again talking to me pleading to say my name, I got annoyed and just told her my name. She happily run and screamed her name to me, the fact that her parents arrived to fetch her. My mom just also arrived Who's that girl new friend?? well that's new for you  she said. She began teasing me about her. Around the 2nd grade we became best friends and always together. Sometimes I visit her house and sometimes she visit  mine. Were like Spongebob and Patrick that cannot be separated.  Every time I had problems she's always there advising me and with her advice I can think of the solution. I'm glad that she's always by my side and I felt very special every time I'm with her. Then there's this summer before we went to grade 7 where everything developed, Why does my heart beat so fast when Im with her. Everything is changing. The way I looked at her. So that time I realized that I was in love to her. So I kept my feelings to make our friendship still and strong, I don't want to ruin just because I'm in love with her.

  Then sudden a ball hit my head  (Back to reality)

Ow.... I groaned as I tried myself to get back on my feet then as I opened my eyes she's infront of me checking If I had any injury. I'm okay I said but Jenny insisted that she would  walk me to the clinic to check up on me. Who would not fall in love with her, If she's this sweet but a sudden realization in my head appeared she already loved somebody.  Now here I am at the clinic lying thinking those things. I suddenly fallen asleep and when I woke up she's here beside me, sleeping . I love you I whispered, then she wakes up, What did you say she said?

I blushed and said "I said I'm already ok"  

Really  then why is your face red?? wait  I'm gonna call up the nurse I stopped her by puling her arm and ended up holding her hands. Then why did she turned red  and breaking my grip on her hand. Oh okay  she said turning red.

Jayson's P.O.V. 

I was walking around the football field on my way to the clubroom then a sudden  crowd I saw in the football field it was Ken he had been hit by a football , I was gonna help him but I saw Jenny checking up on her walking him towards the clinic. I grinned and started smiling.  "Good for him" I said. There's Layla always in a rush. Hey I shouted passing me because she's running then she suddenly stop after hearing my voice.  Jayson!!!!  she screamed  I thought I'm late she said.

So??  she said

So what?? I questioned

How's the book? she asked

Oh you mean that 1 paged  book?? I said teasing her

It's still in development she said pouting  I just want to know If it's beautiful
