The Piano Died

A/n: Most of the dialog for the next few chapters are from anime itself. I loved the ending itself because it was greatly enjoyable. So I'm giving the credit to the writers of the scripts. Any dialog between you and anyone else, never happened (Obviously).

Reader's P.O.V.

We split up from Marie and Stein as we worked our way to Lady Arachne's castle. That's when we saw what we couldn't believe. It looked to be Death City, except it was WALKING! It had grown legs and arms and was able to move. We were amazed and just couldn't believe.

"Please tell me you guys are seeing the same thing I am." Soul said showing part of his human head out of his scythe form. We started running to Death City where we watched the Kishin get swallowed by Death City. As we neared, Soul asked the same questions on everyone's mind.

Maka was able to answer the questions, "Without even using my soul perception, I can tell... The Kishin is inside the Death Room right now."

"Seriously?"

"He's not alone... Lord Death's there too."

We decided there that we were going to continue moving and not slow down. We needed to get there and fast. We all knew it was best to meet up with the others but we had a good idea to take care of the enemies outside of Death City. I looked up to the city for a quick glance only to catch a glimpse of an explosion. That's when I stopped everyone causing us to stop and see what it was. It was Asura flying out of Death City, still alive. We knew it was a bad sign then. We started running to Lady Arachne's castle, the place the Kishin flew back to. A red light had formed from the top of the building. That's when Soul and Maka started talking.

"Maka... Are you sure you're ready for this?"

"I'm ready for anything. Lord Death can't fight anymore... It's up to us now."

I looked at Maka and Soul and realized what i was getting myself into. This was a fight i had to be very careful. My stomach churned as we reached the huge building and my mind was sure, I was going to fight till the bitter end. We entered the building and that's when the barrier/red light closed up. That's when we were greeted by Death the Kid and Black Star, of course Liz, Patty, and Tsubaki in weapon form.

We were all about to start fighting when we realized on thing. The Kishin Asura was now rather larger than before.

"He must have killed Arachne and swallowed her soul!" Kid exclaimed.

"I couldn't care less what you look like, Kishin... I'm still gonna destroy you... Got it?!" Star yelled with great anger and frustration.

The Kishin was saying something about bugs and insects when Maka interrupted him. "Listen up. Soul is about to play... Everyone ready?"

That's when the playing of a piano began and the fighting too. Everyone attacked at full force all at once. The Kishin didn't seem to be harmed by her attacks but he seemed worried by them. Star pointed out the fact that his skin was hard and tough like armor but we knew we were making some process. All together we attack but regroup to check our progress.

"Damn...! Are you sure this is working?" Star asked as we bounced to our feet after attack.

"Yes, I'm positive... Just look around you." We looked around at the barrier which was growing weak. "Up there! The barrier he set up is starting to weaken... That's proof we're doing something."

The group was doing well resonating and odds are on our side. We started picking up the pace of our attacks along with the music. Our attacks became stronger, at least mine did. We were causing more damage but The Kishin was growing weaker and worried. Kid shot his Death canons and Maka went to take her final blow when suddenly the music died. Maka dropped Soul and he transformed back to human form.
