A/n: Most of the dialog for this chapter is from the anime itself. I loved the ending itself because it was greatly enjoyable. So I'm giving the credit to the writers of the scripts. Any dialog between you and anyone else, never happened (Obviously).

As Maka stood there, Asura just whipped one of his scarves at her but she didn't fall. She seemed to deflect it. Again he whipped his wrappings at her but without moving they were deflected. Maka came running at the Kishin with scythes of her very own. Maka was a weapon! Maka was giving attacks that he couldn't stop. Asura started attacking smarter and more fierce but Maka didn't seem conscious. She had little fear in her and like a mindless zombie fighting a battle. That's when the Kishin in mid air got above her and put his hand around her neck and slammed her to the ground. 20 to 30 scythes came from the impacted ground where Maka and Asura remain. The scythes then disappeared as Maka screamed out in pain! What was going over there?!

The Kishin still had his hand around Maka's neck as he lifted her. He looked at me and then back at her, "All you have left is that weakling, weaker than you. The kid that just sits there and watches as i kill you." He was talking about me, the weakling behind the rocks. He shot a blast at me and about hit me but missed. "Well, now you have no one... Why fight anymore?"

"It'll be all right then." Maka said calmly.

I heard their voices but i was able to find a spot where I could watch. Maka had gotten out of Asura's grip and they were speaking. Asura was surely freaked out by her hope and bravery. That's when Black Star started coming back, he was giving confidence to Maka and fear to Asura. Everyone was coming back and I who had been hidden came out and joined in. I helped everyone get back up. Asura was becoming full of fear and Maka stood there calm and brave. He had no way of being able to handle her bravery to continue fighting. Asura had his weapon showing and his eyes were spinning in circles. He spit out his weapon, he stood there confused and distracted. The battle became hard to watch from the rocks rising up and causing us to be left with questions. The screaming and yelling stopped but a few rays of blue light were visible, then a big ball of blue light expanded, destroying the barrier. The sun came through, showing the beautiful blue sky that felt like days since I've seen. Human souls seemed to be released from killing the Kishin and Maka stood standing on a lonely pillar. Everyone stood up and Black Star was yelling with joy. We all stood around celebrating our win but we knew another Kishin would be born. Next time, we know what will win, bravery.

We returned to Death City where we were greeted with many smiling faces and cheerful cheers. Stein was there waiting for us, congratulating us students. I was the last one to come up the hill but when Stein saw me, he basically ran to me and hugged me tightly. I would have never thought he would have missed me or even worried about me but i was happy to see him too. That's when something I never expected would happen. He started to cry. Not tears of sadness but tears of joy. I never thought he could show emotion like he is now. He stopped sobbing, held me still but backed away enough so he could see my face. He put his rough hand on my cheek and rubbed it with his thumb. I wanted to lean in closer to his face but what for? I didn't like him that way and besides he was my professor over a year ago. Or did I? Stein leaned in just like i wanted to and did exactly what my heart wanted. He kissed me.
