>Sophia<
I got to the gates.
"Welcome to Alexandria" Aaron said, happy to have saved someone.
"Thanks" I said shyly.
I was astonished because there were so many people having fun, laughing.
Kids running around, people roaming freely.
Maybe I'll be happy here.
It looked nice but some what overwhelming and strange to be back to an environment that looked so happy and so peaceful.
I hoped that I would make friends. I'm very antisocial, maybe I'll find people from my old group, but I doubt it. I walked in and Aaron introduced me to most of the people at the camp. Some of the people were on a run for food and supplies.
He took me to a house I'd be staying in. It was empty, not supply empty but people empty. I wonder if that's the group that's on the run.
"This will be your house for now, here's some fresh clothes you can get changed into" Aaron said while handing me the clothes.
"Um Aaron? Where is everyone?" I looked at him with a confused face.
"Oh, the people that you'll be sharing this house with are on a run. They should be back in a few hours. Get cleaned up and I'll show you around" he said while leaving.
I started undressing and realized all of the bruises on my arms and legs.
"Damn" I whispered
I searched the cabinets for anything that will heal my open wounds. I had them everywhere, because of my boyfriend.
There was nothing in the cabinets, so I just took a shower and hoped for the best.
When I turned the water on, it was warm.
Oh my god this is so nice. I haven't had a warm shower since this all started.
I was in the shower for an hour, I brushed my teeth for ten minutes, getting used to the feeling and got dressed M my new clean clothes.
I heard talking coming from downstairs. They must be here.
I slowly tip toed down the stairs. All was quiet until I got to the last step. As it creaked everyone's eyes turned to me.
As soon as they looked at me I turned red.
"Hi" I said awkwardly.
"Hey, you're Sophia right?" A middle aged woman asked.
"Yeah" I said, with a straight face.
Well this is so awkward I didn't expect to be in another group.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Deanna" she said, extending me her hand.
Ron and Jessie did the same thing.
Ron was really cute.
"How old are you?" I asked with curiosity.
"I'm 17" he replied with a smirk.
"Well, maybe we can hangout sometime with some other people our age, if there is any" I suggested.
"Yeah, there's Enid, Carl, and a few others" he said.
When he said Carl, I got a chill down my spine.
