Just a Sad Song

-•Your POV•-
I woke up with the sunlight gleaming into my room. The atmosphere dead and silent, I slowly sat up and got off my bed and made my way to the mirror only to be met by my helpless appearance and dead eyes. I threw on some clothes and went outside, I didn't know why I was outside my legs just dragged me out the door.

My legs started walking to the park and I sat on the bench as memories started flooding in.. It was the same bench I ran to when everything went wrong and it's where I met him I sighed as I closed my eyes to remember that moment.

-Flashback-
I had just recently got into a fight with my boyfriend about him cheating on me and I ran away to the park to this bench under a tree. It was dark so I doubted people would see me crying, I leaned against the tree as warm tears just streamed down my face until I felt a warm hand on me, I looked up and I could see he had lime green hair in the dim light that the street light produced.

"Hey are you okay? I heard crying and I thought it was you." He gave me a calming smile and I wiped my tears and looked down chuckling as he sat next to me, "oh uh, I just got into a fight with my boyfriend" I just sighed and he just let out a 'ahh' he then looked at me again "are you going back to him?" I shook my head and he nodded his head "I don't know where to go really.." I crossed my arms in embarrassment. "I know this is really strange cause I'm a stranger and we just met but I'm Sean but you can call me Jack if you'd like and.. Uh you can stay over my place if you'd like I just don't think you should even be out here this late" he gave me a shy smile and I giggled it was true I had nobody to go to, it was 9 and he seemed like a pretty chill person. I agreed and he smiled and that's how our 4 year friendship started.

-end of flashback-

I snap out of my mind as my phone rang and saw his caller ID, I hesitated but I answered.

"he-hello?" I stared at the ground

"oh! Y/N could you meet me at Starbucks real fast?" He seemed happy, I sighed once AGAIN.

"why?" I sounded stressed because he said "I just want you to hang with me and Maryl... Is something wrong?" I felt stabbed in the chest when he mentioned Maryl.

Jack had been my crush for 4 years and my best friend for 4 years. Until I introduced him to my best friend Maryl, I basically hooked them two up, but then they literally ignored my exsistence.

I cleared my throat and with eyes slowly filling up with tears.

I said "okay I'll be there soon I'm at the park okay bye" before he said anything I ended the call and threw my head into my hands my mind couldn't handle it, but I stood up and made my way to the cafe.

•TIME SKIP•

I entered the cafe and immediately saw Jack and Maryl.

I dragged my feet over their table and flashed a fake smile "hey Y/N!" I sat by Maryl "we have big news to tell you!" I stared at Jack in curiously, to be honest I could care less but anyways, he continued on "So me and Maryl" he made a pause and I gave him a 'HURRY TF UP' look and he continued "are getting Married!"

I felt my face twitch and my whole body shut down while my heart just ached inside my chest. I clapped in excitement "OHMYGAWD RLY? I'm so proud of you two!!" I felt myself breaking so fast.

My whole life might as well be a Sad Song...
