I wake up in the middle of the night and I smell smoke like cigarette smoke and I here footsteps . Joe burst through the door I'm scared "what's wrong with you you lil twerp" he's drunk he starts hitting and kicking me and all I can think about is how much I miss golorious and the others.
I wake up the next morning an I have dark purple bruises everywhere so I try and cover up . I wear a long sleeve pink shirt and jeans with sneakers.
I get to school from the bus and walk to my Homeroom with Mrs.Clifford
