Night before moving day

Riley: This is real we're moving

Maya: The bay window I cried about because you wanted to change it. We have to leave.

Riley: This has been my room for 14 years. I grew up in this house and now I'm leaving it.

Maya: Remember when I first came thought your window

Riley: Yeah and from there on you barely used the door. I finally just stopped locking it.

Maya: I remember when Auggie was a few months old and you wanted to ship him off so we left through the window, but your Mom caught us

Riley: *laughs* Yeah

Maya: I'm going to miss this place

Riley: I hope we make great memories at this new house

Maya: Me too

Cory walks in

Cory: You girls are missing the party come on

Riley: Dad

Cory: Yes Riley

Riley: Is it hard to make new memories at a new place

Cory: Not really. When I went off to college I stayed in a dorm. It was different from being at home in my bed, but it was a new adventure I was starting a new journey in my life. When your Mom and I got our first apartment as a married couple it was hard, but we fixed it up and made it home and great memories were made there.

Riley: Were you scared to move to New York

Cory: Very scared, but I moved here so your Mom could continue her journey I didn't want to stop her from growing. Eric and Shawn came along. It was hard to adjust at first, but when we did so many memories were made. Your Mom became a lawyer, I became a teacher, you and Auggie were born, You made friends, and now we have 2 new editions to our family.

Riley: Yeah

Cory: It won't be easy, but it definitely won't be hard. It will be fun I promise.

Riley: Thanks Dad *hugs him*

Cory: You're welcome now you girls come downstairs. We're having a blast

Riley: OK

Downstairs

Joshua: We're playing pictionary. Kids verses Adults

Maya: Cool who's winning

Adults: *mumbles* Kids

Maya: *smiles* Even more cool
