The roof was cold from the storm that took place the night before, both of us feeling its leftover coldness.
Her body was laying next to mine, searching the stars to find something in them.
I looked at her, sitting in the pale moonlight. I am trying to feel the moment but I can't.
"Damn it," I say under my breath.
She turns to me with those bright blue eyes, " What's wrong?"
My eyes start to sting and a few tears escape before I could stop them.
" I don't love y-you... I don't know how to feel it." I cover my eyes and take in shallow breaths, unable to control any of my emotions.
"You think I did not know that," she laughs a little, though uneasiness still resting in her voice.
I tilt my head in her direction, "Why didnt you tell me sooner?"
She scoots closer to me and puts her arms around me, her cold body pressing to mine. " I love you, I don't care if you love me back."
I wrap her into my arms and let her steal my warmth, her head resting on my shoulder.
She pulls back and looks at me with a sad smile, I have to fix this.
And before thinking it through I put my hand on her numb cheek and press my lips to hers.
She dosent stop me, and I began to feel her sadness transfer from her into me.
Because that's the only thing I can give her in return.
