Meet Percabeth

Morgan Johnson Part 2

Previously:

"What?!?" Morgan stood up, shocked. "It was bad when I knew they were dating but now... their married? How could he not tell me? How could know one tell me?"

"Me and the others knew you liked his and didn't want to crush you. And Percy has been keeping it a secret for a while....Look the let's just go back and we can talk when everyone else is asleep, ok?"

Morgan was hesitant at first, Cam still lied to her, but decided to trust her best friend of four long years.

"Ok lets go. Oh try to ignore Percy. He looks so hot right now and this is coming from the girl in the committed relationship."

Morgan smiled a bit but in her head she knew it was going to be a long night.

When Morgan said long night she was right. It had only been about three hours ago that she found out her crush was married. She was silently suffering while her friends mingled with people she didn't know, but she could not get her mind off of Percy. His smile, his hair, his eyes. It was gonna take a long time before she forgot him.

"Hey! I'm Piper and this is Hazel! We are friends of Percy and Annabeth. Who are you?" Asked a choppy brown hair girl with kaleidoscope eyes. There was a girl behind her, Hazel, with dark brown hair and golden eyes.  

"Um, hi. I'm Morgan, a friend of Percy's." Morgan's eyes sadden at the thought of Percy.

Piper could tell Morgan liked Percy. She always had a way of knowing.

"Speaking of Percy. Could you go look for him...and Annabeth?" Piper asked turning to Hazel.

"Ya...sure." Said the girl getting Piper's silent message.

"So, I'm guessing you have been friends with Percy for a while but he never told he was married and so you developed a crush on him that you have had for a long time." Said Piper once Hazel had left.

"W-What? How did you know?" Stuttered Morgan. She was not expecting her to figure it out.

"Un-surprisingly, it happens to Percy a lot. I mean he's attractive, supper kind, loving, enjoys to help people, has great abs, an-"

"OK! Ok, I get it. Your just making me feel worse."

"I know it hurts know but you'll get over it. They all do. Just hangout with your friends and try to act as natural as possible. Percy doesn't do well when he thinks he has hurt someone. He falls into this hole of guilt. It would take him a long time to forgive himself. And he could never face you again.  He's loyal. That's just how he is."

"Thanks for the advice. I really needed it." Morgan began feeling a bit better.

"And um...I don't recommend telling Annabeth, by accident or on purpose. The last time something like this happened they got in a huge fight." Piper's eyes turned sad as she recalled hard time for the couple.

"Ok, thanks." Morgan didn't want to intrude so she waved and went to sit back with Cam.

Remember a few sentences ago when Morgan said she was starting to feel a bit better. Ya, she lied. A few minutes after she sat back with Cam, Percy and Annabeth burst through the doors. Holding hands. Sure the contact shouldn't have made her feel so envious, but it did. She was sad, mad, and all the emotions in between. It got worse when Hazel held up a camera of the two kissing.

"Aww! Aren't you two the cutest couple in the world or what?" Squealed Cam beside her. They couple blushed beside her.

"Ya. Just to cutest!" Morgan mumbled with sarcasm under her breath. 

Unfortunately, Annabeth and Cam had heard some of her sarcasm. Annabeth sent her a look between a confused frown and a dagger glare. Cam sent her a look of annoyance and pity. Morgan knew she was going to get talked to.

"Hey, Morgan, Cam, Piper! Lets go get some food for the movie from the kitchen. Hazel is going to watch the boys as they choose the movie with the other girls."

'Uh oh,' Morgan thought, 'I should of seen this coming.'

Morgan trailed behind the group as they walked to the kitchen. Annabeth was in front with Piper, telling her what was going on. Cam was behind them clearly frustrated with Morgan. Morgan slowed down her steps, trying to prolong the enviable, letting the others enter the kitchen first.

When she reached the doorway the others were silently sitting at the counter waiting for her. Their eyes followed Morgan as she walked closer. Annabeth was the first to speak.

"Care to share something?" Annabeth's voice was cold and bitter.

Morgan swallowed and shook her head. She didn't want to share.

"Well then I'll start, seeming that you have feelings for MY boyfriend!" Annabeth was angry to say the least.

"Your extremely lucky that Percy doesn't know or we would have major, problems." Piper said beside Annabeth.

Morgan was growing angry. None of them had the right to yell at her. It wasn't like she was all over him. She stepped back and acted as though she didn't like him. So why is everyone so angry? She was respecting his and Annabeth's relationship.

"I've been kind and respectful of your relationship, well not anymore! I'm gonna tell him and let him decide who he wants to be with at the end," Morgan turned to Cam who was in shock. "And I thought you were my best friend. You knew I liked him and didn't tell me he was married. Your also acting like I have been on top of him all day! But, from now on, stay away!" And with that, Morgan stormed out the kitchen.

Morgan sneaked into the room, where the boys were, and pulled Percy aside.

"Hey. Can we talk for a minute."

"Um..ya, sure. Lets go out here," Percy lead her to the balcony. "So whats up?"

Morgan's heart was thumping. She didn't think he would actually come talk to her.

"Um..well, I guess I'm just gonna come out and say it then, " Morgan took a deep breathe, trying to relax. "Ihaveamajorcrushonyouandwaswonderingifyouwouldliketogoonadate?"

Unfortunately, Percy understood what she said. No truing back now. His face turned pale and he started to stuttered Annabeth's name. Then he dashed to the door running back inside, making Morgan regret ever telling him. This was not going to be a fun night.
