Chapter 1

The cheers and flashing lights and humidity hit me all at once. Id just opened the back door to the club to take my shift.
My arms are lazy as they drop my tote bag in my locker round the back. I joggged to the front since I was already running late. Zander (geeky, I know ) was already there his arms a blur as he worked hard and fast to give the excited people who waited their drinks. I joined in after a few moments of astonishment after glancin around the club. It was a very busy night tonight. People dance on the already crowded dance floor and couples sat on the bar stols asking for drinks.
One guy, by himself I assume asks me for a scotch.'Don't have too much of gthat' he laughs.
'I won't' he responded in a husky voice. i consider staying and chatting with this guy but a young girl in a one shoulder red sheath comes up and press's a peck to his cheek.
'coming now?' She asked then saw me the guy glances at me.
'Uh sure' they get lost in the crowd.

I shouldve known. A guy like that wouldn't have been single. I missed Quintin lots.
He had been my boyfriend of five months but guess what happened? He cheated on me. A lot im pretty sure
I shake my head and fill more orders. The night goes a lot faster than usual, probably because there's so many clubbers.

Some nights all I can think about is sleep and it's reallyhard to stay awake Not that the strobe lights don't help but I guess it s. Just hard, big days and loud nights. not always an easy lifstyle .

At the end of the night I finally sighed grateful to have a break. Now I could go home & get some zee's yay
