It's been 2 hours since little Riley came into our lives and I'm so in love. Aubrey and dad have to stay at the hospital the next few days, for the check ups and all that. So I decided to go home.
I texted Jake to see if he wanted to hang out since I'd be at the house by myself but he said he had a date, So i decided I needed to catch up on some much needed sleep, and get my missing assignments done.
The hospital printed out the pictures of Riley, and I kept one in my wallet and one in my car. I looked at it the whole way home. I pulled into the driveway thinking about everything I missed out on at school.
"Man today is so gloomy and rainy" I said to myself getting the bags out of my trunk
"Where have you been" someone interrupted my thoughts
I turned around scared. Justin.
"What are you doing?" I asked
"Where have you been" he asked again harsh
"Aubrey had the baby, I was at the hospital a that okay?" I said sarcastically
"Oh.." he sighed
"What are you doing out here?" I asked again
"Just haven't seen you, thought something happened."
"Oh well im going to go inside.. It's kind of raining on us" I said
I could tell from the look in Justin's eyes he didn't want to go home
"Would you like to come in?" I mentally hit myself in the head. Even though I hated Justin at the moment I still cared for him
"Um sure" he said following me inside
"Pizza?" I asked putting my things on the counter
"Sounds good to me" he smiled "is pepperoni good?" I added "perfect" he stated
"Hi, yes large pepperoni pizza and a side of bread sticks, last time slayton"
I ordered me and Justin a pizza and we sat on the couch eating watching A Cinderella Story with Selena Gomez. Okay, I picked the movie but he liked it to.
"Skylar?"
"Yea Justin?" I looked over at him
"...I'm sorry" he looked down
"For what?" Clearly I knew what I just wanted him to acknowledge it
"Everything.. and that night at the sink... It should never had happened" he sighed
I got up and walked into the kitchen putting away the pizza boxes. "You can't just keep doing this pattern Justin!" I yelled. Just as I did the storm knocked the power out. I stood against the counter not moving. Oh I forgot to mention I'm scared of the storms... And the dark...
I then felt hands resting on my hips. I looked up and saw Justin staring into my eyes "I'm so sorry Skylar" he said "this is all just complicated I wish I could explain"
What felt like hours only lasted a minute. He leaned in and right as we were about to kiss the lights flicked back on. Thank God. "No Justin! you can't just treat me how you want then expect me to melt into your arms when you come back! It's not fair!" I said pushing him off me
"Skylar...I made a huge mistake" he whispered in my ear. I looked up and he was still staring at me and his hands went back on my waist
"I don't know Justin..." I looked down "That night you broke my heart and I just--"
"I'm so sorry." He interrupted "I never stopped loving you" he leaned in again
"It's not that simple Justin!" I broke away "You can't just hurt me then say sorry and then everything be alright again!"
"Skylar, really it's not my fault, I-"
"You need to start taking responsibility for your own actions Justin!"
"It's Richard okay!" He yelled in frustration
"...what?"
"It's Richard.. he told me if I didn't break up with you then... I just..I had to break up with, you okay?" He sighed
I knew their was a problem with Richard
"Justin, I didn't know.."
"Yea..well maybe I should go"
He started walking off until I grabbed his hand and turned him back around crashing his lips onto mine. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. He picked me up and sat me on the counter still kissing. We kissed for a couple minutes until he broke it and looked into my eyes. I knew exactly what he was thinking. I nodded my head in agreement making him smile and light up like a Christmas tree.
He started kissing me intensely and picked me up. He carried me to the couch and got on top of me not breaking the kiss. "What about Richard" I said breathlessly
"He's gone for the week" he answered while still kissing me and breathing heavy. I ran my hands up under his shirt causing him to take it off, I started taking off his belt-
"Heyyyy bestfriendd " Jake walked in. "Woah, flashback.. just with more clothes" he laughed
"Jake...what are you doing here" I said heavily as Justin got off me
"Well obviously I'm interrupting something" he smirked
Justin looked mad "It's cool" he sighed
"What happened to your date?" I asked
"I canceled, thought you could use some company tonight but I was wrong" he chuckled "Anyway, Im gonna go"
Jake grabbed his keys and walked out
"Um...I'm gonna go" Justin rubbed the back of his head
"Justin?"
"Yea?" He looked up at me
"Do you wanna stay here tonight?" His eyes got wide "Ya know.. because Richard isn't home"
he smiled "yes!"
I gave pillows and blanket's to Justin and laid it all out on the couch and he settled in. It was still raining hard and the storm knocked the lights out again. This is going to be a long night
"Justin?" I asked coming down the stairs noticing he was already almost asleep
"Yeah Sky?"
I asked nervously "I'm scared of storms...can you sleep with me? Well not sleep with me but..uh-"
He smiled cutting me off and grabbing my hand. "Come on"
He held my hand as we walked up stairs to my bed. I got on the right side and snuggled up under the covers, I felt Justin get in the bed as he grabbed my waist and pulled me in tighter.
"This is where I wanna be" he whispered
I laid my back against his shirtless chest and fell asleep instantly
