Tonight was the night that Vanessa stood in front of a crowd and sung. Tonight was the night her voice would be heard.
"...And now we have Vanessa singing Crush." Vanessa heard and took a breath before walking on stage. She walked over to the piano with a microphone on top. She looked around at the audience. She saw a pair of blue eyes staring at her and immediately got nervous. Butterflies flew around in her stomach as her cheeks heated up.
"Vanessa." She looked over at the host. He didn't look to happy so she shook her feelings away and started singing.
After Vanessa sung she looked out into the audience, meeting those blue eyes again. She smiled before getting up and walking off stage.
Vanessa was getting ready to leave when the blue eyed man walked up to her.
"Hey. I'm Brian." He said and Vanessa blushed while pushing a piece of hair behind her ear. Brian stood smiling at her.
"Vanessa." She said before looking into those baby blues again.
"Well, Vanessa," Brian paused and kissed her hand.
"I hope to see you again." Brian finished while Vanessa was a blushing mess.
Later that night they exchanged numbers and ever since then they've been meeting at the same place at the same time every Wednesday and Friday night.
