There we were. Crammed in a hole. Me and Mikey were freezing cold on the concrete floor. "We were going to die." I whispered. "Don't ever say that. Goonies never say die, maddie." He said slowly. Tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. He pulled me into a hug as I sobbed into his shoulder. "It's going to be okay Maddie. I swear."
