CHAPTER TWELVE:WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU...

'why would Josh want to date me know? I'm a freak. I was born a human She thinks. I look at her with hurt eyes. Why would she think that? "Why would you think that?" Everyone looked at me and said, "Think what?" 'just....because!' She thinks. She runs off. I run after her. She's too fast, and soon I don't see her in front of me.

"Oh My God! Where Is she? This is all my fault!" Amber says.

"It's not your fault Amber. If I was faster I could have gotten to her and stopped her" I reply.

"We will find her tonight" My father says.

A single drop of water falls on my head. I look up and dark grey clouds hover above us. It starts to pour.

"AHH! Sorry guys I can go out there! Imma Demon remember?" Lindsey yells from inside. I nod. "Ok, Let's all split up. She's out there in the rain with nobody and nothing." I say. Lindsey runs into the kitchen and then comes back with walkie-talkies. "Here, I have one for everyone, and one for myself." I walk to the door so she does not have to come out in the rain. "Thanks Lindsey" I say. I hand a walkie-talkie to everyone and keep the last one for me. "If you find her than just say that you have her and we will all come back to the house." Everyone nods and we run our separate ways to find Gemma. I hope she's ok.

I wake up to find myself on the ground. 'outch...' I think to myself. I must have fallen out of the tree because I was now I was in a pile of leaves. How did I get in that tree? Why was I in the tree in the first place? I shake my head and find myself staring into the eyes of the same wolf I saw when I was alone. 'come...sit..on..back' It thinks to me. Should I trust it? I shiver. The rain seemed to be getting colder and colder. Myth has it that vampires don't get sick or cold, we do. I swear i feel like I have no skin. What is it? -573 degrees Celsius? The wolf steps close to me and I sense the heat rising off of him. 'Come... Sit... Warm... Back... ' He thinks to me. I agree. He is super warm and offering a free ride. I wonder if it's like riding a horse? I fall asleep laying on the werewolves back.

I wake up. It was still raining. Where was I? The heat from the werewolf came off of me and I try to grasp back at it. I was half asleep. I knew it. But we was warmer than anything. Hands were picking me up. Soon I was being carried bridal style. I moaned. "Who..toooke me awaaay frooom...... the warrrmthh?" I slurr. "Gemma? I didn't know you were awake. We are going back to the house ok? Everyone will be there soon. I'm going to run if you don't mind. I think you would like a bath once you get back. I nod.

People are rushing me around. Whats happining? I'm just too tired to even care. I drift off back to sleep...
