How tempting it sounded.
The old hotel I was staying in was just around the corner from Kye's house. It wasn't that I wanted to be closer to her, it's just that I couldn't be bothered to walk another 5 miles in the rain to pay and extra 50 bucks a night.
My phone was being blown up by Kye, begging for me to speak to her, her promising she had never done anything to hurt me.

She was taking up all my credit, and I didn't bring much money, because I didn't expect to spend 75 bucks a night in a shitty hotel. She has to stop.
