Protect

~Laurance's POV~

I see her head tilt towards Aphmau's. She flies towards her quickly aiming for her head. I quickly pull out my sword and jump in front of Aphmau.

"NO!!" I scream as I smash my sword into hers. "I will not let you hurt her." I see that the portal is right behind us. Still trying to hold back Christie, I push Aph through the portal and dive backwards myself.

I land on the other side and quickly cut of the portals power. I slowly turn around as I turn back into my human form. Aphmau just laid there staring into nothingness like she just saw a Ghost.

I went over to her and gently picked her up. It looked as though she was knocked out but nothing even happened to her. I carried her through the forest and to the settlement to her house she was sharing with Aaron.

I gently laid her onto the bed. A thought crossed my mind. The children! I zoomed out of the house and ran all the way to the portal. I opened it and rushed inside. I have to protect the children, I need to save them first.
