Sapphire and Ruby, The Untold Tale

In The Beginning

Before humans inhabited the earth gems had peacefully lived among the universe. These gems were beings with special powers and special purposes, but most importantly they lived through a power source which they called their gem. They are various different gem types: pearls, amethysts, rubies, saphires, and much more. However off all the gems the diamonds were known as the most prestigious. There is a saying and the saying goes that no one is perfect, but this statement is false for no one is perfect unless they are a diamond and all gems fell under the direct order of a diamond. The gems all lived on Homeworld but they were expanding and one day they fell upon the planet that we call Earth. One day while checking out the Earth a few gems traveled to earth with blue diamond, and among these diamonds were sapphire and ruby. Ruby was a just a simple soldier gem, and Sapphire....she was different, very different. Unlike most gems sapphire had a special power, however unlike the other gems Sapphire only possessed one eye. It was okay though because with this eye she was granted future vision. She could see into the future as it stretches over the horizon, she could see the different choices one might take and the outcome of each choice. From the day she was created up until now Sapphire had never experienced something that she didn't already know the end to, but that all was about to change. When they went to Earth it was already being inhabited by the rebels. The rebels were a group of gems created and led by their leader, Rose Quartz. Rose Quartz believed that human life was sacred and not to be tampered with but the Diamonds wanted to destroy the earth just to make a giant geogem weapon. When they were about to leave the rebels had attacked them and they had cornered Sapphire and were about to strike but Ruby, quick on her feet jumped pushing her out the way, but as they she pushed Sapphire out of the way the twirled together in the air with perfect unison causing them to fuse and become an outcast because it was frowned upon to fuse with gems of a different class than yourself. They were so scared but it felt so nice, then because it was so shocking they couldn't remained fused for long so when they split apart back into their normal selves they heard a voice.

"Get them," one of the Diamonds screamed, "and break them!"

They were both very scared but Sapphire thinking quickly and remembering she also has the power of speed and grabbed Ruby and ran away, far away. When she finally finished running Sapphire and Rub had settled down at an open meadow surrounded by flowers and trees, then when they had finally stopped Ruby, still confused, spoke "Why did you save me?"

Sapphire still shocked spoke "They were going to break your gem, the source of your life and I don't want to lose you. You had saved my life. " 

"Well, yeah. There aren't many gems with the power to see into the future on Homeworld. Well, come to think of it you are the only one on Homeworld with that  power, and as a Ruby I needed to protect you," Ruby replied.

"I know that I can see the future, but there is something about you that was able to bypass my future vision," Sapphire replied. 

"Well, what  do we do know," Ruby replied.
