Ch.1 (Partners)

Tonight on the 10:00 o'clock news we are happy to report that all the missing animals that went missing, over a month ago have all bin treated and are now back safe and sound back home with there love ones. Thanks to an unlikely hero or heroes, from our own ZPD Judy hopps and her new partner nick wild. Thanks to them uncovering the dark secrets from and saving the lives of others, this young bunny and fox have done this city a great service.
I'm reporter Leona cuts, sighing off.

Back on the streets of zootopia Judy looks at the news on her phone as they go on about nick and her actions Feeling pride In her actions as smile comes across her face. "Wach a looking at carrots"
nick jumps up behind Judy. Startled she jumps up and nearly drops her phone. "Nick!!!! Don't do that!!" Judy ears went up. "Oh come on, I'm not going to bite" he said as he gave Judy a wide smile, showing off his sharp teeth.
Judy'sPOV:
He can't be serious, going around me like that and I'll have a heart attack. I glare at him and I hear the sound of a bag ruffling. I can smell it......donuts. My ears go up and I think he noticed that I smelled the bag because as soon as my ears went back down, his went up and a devilish smile went across his face. " looking for this sweetheart." I could fell the blood rush to my face when he said that. I don't know why but if any one else said that I would have brushed it off, but nick..... I don't know he just......he had that tone and that attitude that just made my heart race. I could tell I was blushing but I was homing nick didn't see it. He waved the bag In front of me. I felt my stomach toss and turn, I haven't eaten sins last night and I was starving. I reached out and tried to get it.......but he pulled away. "Come on now, you can do better that that" he said is he pulled the bag over his head. I jumped and jumped but even with my strong legs, I just didn't have the energy to jump any higher and I found my self out of breath fast.

Nicks POV:
I heard the bag over my head as she jumped. To be honest it was actually pretty funny seeing her try to jump. I pulled the bag just a little higher every time she got closer. Then she stopped, when I heard a loud growl, I looked around to see if someone was looking for a fight but then I noticed that it was Judy. Her ears laid down and her face got red. I could tell she was embarrassed, she always tried to look like nothing could get to her, but even she needed to eat. I set the bad of donuts down and reached in and pulled out her favorite. A small orange glaze donut, I passed it to her and her face lit up. " oh thank you thank you thank you!!!!!" I had to admit she was adorable when she let herself go like that.

Nick and Judy made there way back to there police crozier. "I'll drive" said nick heading over to the driver seat. "What....why?" Judy's ears went up as she stared at nick. "Well why not, you get to drive so why not let me drive for a little while" Judy was in to good of a mood to fight back she she just shrugged it of. As she made her way in to the passenger seat, she payed back and closed her eyes and waited for the sound of the engine to start.
She waited and waited, but nothing happened. She opened her eyes to find nick hand only inches away from her face. "What the hell, nick what do you think your doing!!" She shouted not knowing what nick had in mind. "Calm down whiskers, you got something on your face." Nick picked off a little bit of orange frosting from the donut that Judy had minutes ago. " oh.....um thanks." Her face lit up in red as she realized how bad she over reacted. Nick looked over at the frosting and ate it. "Mmmmmm that was good." Nick said looking over at Judy. Her face lit up, "n...nick what, you didn't have to ....."
Judy's phone rang as she talked. She answered the phone." Yes this officer Judy hops ....... Yes.....ok.... What?!?
Her face laid in shock.
Nick just looking at her in confusion, leaning in closer and closer to listen in. Judy hangs up and clips her seat belt in. " nick we got a code 9 Step on it!!" Confused and lost he waisted no time in getting the car started, he slammed his feet on the gas and they raised down the streets of zootopia.
"Just wondering but what exactly is a code 9?" Judy looked at him and sighed."code 9, called for murder under the 29th and 8th street. They already have officers there and they need the remaining officers, AKA you and me and who ever else doesn't have a case, to report to ZPD headquarters."

Nick made his way in to ZPD parking and they headed inside.along with other officers, Tigers,wolfs,panthers,elephants, all heading to the same place. As they all gathered in the meeting room, no one spoke. The tension was thick and made the room feel more like a funeral than anything else.

Minutes passed until chief bogo walked in to the room with a thick pack a files under his arm. " I assume you all know why we are all here today. Today is a dark day in zootopia, we have gathered enough information about the victim."  He placed out on of the files under his arm. "We have reason to believe that the victim was targeted by a group that are in there own words " purifying zootopia " this group is growing exponentially as the days go by." A hand in the back ground went up. " sir why was this civilian targeted" chief bogo payed his head down. " the victim was in an interspecial  relationship with whom I will not speak of." 

Judy's POV:
Interspecial??? Exactly what's that. I said out loud without thinking. I regretted it and covered my mouth,but it was to late. Within seconds almost all the eyes were on me, lucky there were others who shortly asked the same question.

" well an interspecial relationship is some what like an interracial relationships, when two partners fine each other as mates but that there from different places such as a tiger and a panther. They are different,but still remain within the same line of there species,but an interspecial relation ship......that's a little more complicated. It's when something like"

chief bogo took a second to think and looked over at me and nick. " hops,wild do you mind if I use you two as an example?" I still didn't know what he meant but I don't think I had a problem with it. I looked over at nick and I could tell he had no idea what chief was going to do. I don't mind I guess. He cleared his throat and went on with his explanation. " as an example, say miss hops and wilds, as an example let's say they were a couple...." 
What?!? Me and nick?? Include feel my face turn bright red as I heard some of the other officers giggle, nick on the other hand didn't seem to mind.

"Hey!!! Keep it together, your all grown animals so act like it!!! Anyways I think I made my point. The victim was said to have bin killed over night, until we have more information on the suspect we will be on the search."

One by one the officers walked up to receive a file from the chief, Judy walked over with her ears down and still slightly red. " I hope I didn't put you two in the spot light" chief bogo said as he passed a file on to Judy. " um no no it fine" Judy said with a nervous grin. Nick places his arm around Judy playfully. " ya, I mean we're only partners."
Chief bogo raised his eye brow but shrugged it off. As nick and Judy left out to the parking lot, there was constant teasing as they made there way to there police crozier. " hey nick ......doesn't that bother you a little?" Judy said as she buckled up her seat belt. Nick looked over Judy and gave her a devilish grin. "I don't mind being your "partner"....what, you don't like me?" Nick said leaning in. Judy face turned even more red then it already was. " nonono I do, I'm mean I don't but I do you know like a partner but not like......" Nick was holding back the erg to laugh out loud. " oh I get it hahaha" Judy said in a sarcastic tone. Nick let out a chuckle and tried to catch his breath. " l...listen carrots I do like being your partner,but I can't say that's the only thing I enjoy."
Judy's went right back up."what do you mean by "I can't say that's the only thing that I enjoy?" Judy waited for a respons,but nick didn't answer. "So where are we heading?" Nick said as he started the crozier. Judy wasn't going to let this go but the job was her first priority. " looks likewise heading to 24th and 16th , that's right in the middle of the city."
Jude's POV:
"Partner" what did he mean by that? I won't lie, nicks a great friend and great partner, but exactly how close are we? I mean I his a great guy and all but......I'm not shore what I feel. Is he really just a friend?
Ya ya, no he's just a friend......I think?
