Zootopia ( Nick x Judy )

Ch.12 ( savage)

Weeks pass in the city of zootopia, as more riots break out and more couples come out to hospital to give life to there hybrid children. The pain that most mothers and fathers have to feel when their told that their children didn't make it is was because to much to bear. For the ones that do make it, it's considered a miracle. Nick and Judy are called in constantly day after day and night after night to provide moral support. Slowly being worked to death,most days are just left in bed.
Nicks POV:
Awwww my feet!!!! I fall on to the couch face first. Over my shoulder my see my hand dead half alive bunny. Leaning on the door with bags under her eyes. The sun hasn't even come out yet, after day after day of working and not even getting to sleep?!?! How much longer Is this going to take. Judy comes over and brushes off my legs from the couch. I'd try to fight but.....hell I can't even move my head. "Wake me up if the phone rings" Judy says as she falls back. I take the chance to move over and pull her close. In my arms, I can feel her heart in my palm. We haven't bin on a date in like.....ever. I fall back to take small nap, until the phone rings again. "Wild? Are you there?? Listen it looks like there's nothing going on for the next few days. I'm calling you and Judy off from support duty for now. I'll see you two on Monday."
I feel relief wash over me. No more support duty, I better tell Judy. I shake her a little to see if I can wake her. Then again, many latter.

Nick and Judy sleep pass the day and night never moving out of the couch and never letting go. As the sun shine pass the blinds it hits Judy in the eyes, Judy moves out of nicks arms and down to her bed. Looking over at the clock on her night stand he pr eyes pop wide open. "Nick we're going to be late!!!!" Judy says rushing down the hall. Nick jumps eyes popped wide open looking back and forth for Judy. "What???"
Judy jumps on to nick and pulls him off the couch. "Come on come on come on!!! We're going to be late for work." Stops in place as Judy try her hardest to move the fox. "Hold on hold on, I was going to tell you last night but chief called said were both of support duty until further notice and just in case you didn't notice but it's Saturday.....no work."
Judy lets go and jumps back on to the couch. Nick follows back next to her. "You know it's such a nice day, why don't we go out?" Judy chuckles at the thought. " no I'm series, let's go out get a little lunch,take a nice walk down to the park" nick says as he moves his hand on to Judy's leg. " maybe have a little fun when we get back??" Judy blushes and moves nick hand off her leg.
"Ok let's get changed and we can head out"

Judy's POV:
We headed out close to the park,it looked like such a nice day. The sun was just barely over the horizon so it gave the land this worm orange glow. I was to tired to drive so nick took the keys. Rolling down the windows and laying back just made my day. It was still to early to eat lunch so we figured we just wait till latter for lunch and maybe walk around the park for a little while.  After a while nick parked the car, we ended up near edge of a lake. The sun seemed to dance on the water was we made our way towards the lake.
It's so beautiful!!! I said taking a hold of nicks hand. He pulled me in close and it got me off guard. "Hmf.... It's ok, I've seen better" 
Better?!? Exactly where have you see something more beautiful then this? I said pointing out at the lake. He kneeled down to my height and tilted my chin to meet his eyes. My heart started to race again. "Right here" he said as he kissed my nose.  I swear this fox is going to give me a heart attack!!!! He can't just do stuff like that!! What if someone sees us!!  He pulled me in to his arms, his warm arms around me made me melt in place. Screw it, if someone sees us let them see us.
We head back out in to the car with the windows down for a while, it's something about times like this that I can't imagine not meeting nick or being with him. We lay in the car as the sun makes its way up, I look up to nick only to find that he fell asleep. To be honest I needed some shut eye too. Maybe just for five minutes...... And then......maybe .....we will...... Zzzzzzzzzz

As the sun light made its way to nicks eyes he reached out to close the blinds, only to hit the windshield. He pulled away from the hot glass and took a moment to focus his eyes. Looking down to find a small bunny in his lap. Pulling her closer to his chest and looking at the time. "Wha?? 3:46" nick pokes Judy over and over till her eyes slowly open up. "Nick just five more...."  Nick pulls her  inner seat. "Let's go get some lunch,what do you say.... My treat. Judy's eyes spring open,with free food in mind.

Nicks POV:
We made our way sack down to the park, heading for this little restaurant we used to go to every now and then. I always had the same thing, smocked cricket pasta with a side of blueberries. Judy on the other hand had her large carrot, oven roasted with ranch. As we looked over and ordered something didn't feel right. Maybe it was nothing so I just brushed it off.  "Hey  bea? I think I want to try the cricket pasta this time."  The....the cricket past?!? I was a little shocked, mostly because of what she often told me about them. How nasty it was to eat bugs and how I needed to bush my teeth after eating then if I wanted a kiss latter.
"I know I normally get the carrot but I'm just not feeling it today" I shrug it off, it's not like I can stop her right. And....wait did she just call me bea?!?!
Did you just call me bea??  "Maybe I did,is that ok"
Oh it's fine by me. I said leaning in for a kiss, until she put a napkin over my lips. "Nonono not in public"
As the our orders came in, I saw others start to stare at us. Some were confused and some were looks of hate and to my surprise some were looked like they were happy to see us.
I finished in no time, Judy on the other hand just looked at her plate. She ate most of the pasta but pushed the crickets to the side.  For a while she just played with them, shifting them from side to side. Until the picked one with her fork, was Judy hopps  really about to eat a bug!!!! Oh happy day.i watched close waiting for her to spit it out in regret. As the bug landed on her teeth,the slow crunch from her grinding up the bug.
I sited for her to spit it out........but fell short.  Her eyes widen in shock as she ate one cricket after the other, she loved them.  When we finished and called for the check something still didn't feel right. "Nick lock at the check" my heart froze, was it more then usual or something else.
Under a happy face that was drawn under the check read "thank you so much, oh the house"
I took the pen and pulled a twenty out of my wallet. "Glad to help"

Nick and Judy made there way to the park, just as they made there way to the lake the sun was starting to set. The sun started to dance on the water just as it did before. 
Judy's POV:
Today felt like the perfect day, beautiful sunrise and sunset, amazing evening and surprisingly good food. We headed back down to the lake and nick started to skip stones. I tried.....emphasis of the tried part. I kept trying but never managed to get it. Nick stopped and stood right behind me. He took my hand and tried to show me how to skip it,after a while I did.  It wasn't after we went back to the car that something didn't feel right. My stomach didn't feel so good. I ran as fast as I could for the bushes. "Hey carrots!! You ok?? What happened?" Nick came running up behind me.
Ya I think I just got a bad cricket or something. In my head it seemed to be a good idea but I don't know why. "Help!!! Help!!!!" Screaming from down the street echoed. I looked at nick and he looked back at me. We jumped in to the car and sped down to the screams. In the glove compartment I pulled out my tranquilizer gun and loaded it up. We stopped to find female lion oh all fours. Growling and snarling at anyone that got close. I aimed an shot, she fell with in seconds. Nick called bogo, how did this happen. This lion, she.....she went savage!!! How?? I know bellwether escaped over a month ago but how did she get the resources to.....no she can't. Maybe it's someone else, someone that stole the formula to turn others savage.
The ambulance came and so did bogo. Knowing that everything that was taken care of we headed back home.
I didn't feel like cooking so we just ordered pizza and again I wanted crickets so we got a full pizza of crickets. We flipped up and down the tv to find something to watch. That's when it came on.

Tonight on ZNL we have disturbing news, earlyer today after months of treatment. A savage was reported today around 8:45. Identities will remain confidential until further notice. After the houses of treatment we and an eye witness confirming that former assistant bellwether we spotted near the park today.....

Judy's POV:
Nick turned off the tv, I didn't feel like eating anymore. Don't know it was the cricket or something else, I just wasn't hungry anymore.

Hey everyone it's squad30545 I just wanted to say sorry this story is a few hours late, I think I'm getting sick but that's still not going to stop me. Sorry if their some misspelled words again or grammar. I'm not feeling to good. I'll keep trying to do better for y'all.
