Amethyst's POV

Back when Im 10 years old, I promised myself na kapag dumating ang oras na kaya ko ng magisa at kaya ko ng protektahan ang sarili ko, yun din ang oras kung kelan ko sya hahanapin.

Well, that time has arrived.

I studied all the possible possibilities that I can do with my ability and I practiced all of it. I have the ability to control fire and metal.

Its very unusual to see a person that has more than one ability. But I guess they're just unique. Im unique.

According to my studies, a person who has more than one ability cannot use those ability at the same time or else it will damage the condition of the being holding it, it can damage the health of the person or worse, it can lead to death.

Fire and metal are a good couple, but then again, not good enough for it damages the prey and at the same time, kills the predator.

You can imagine all the basics na pwedeng gawin ng dalawang kapangyarihan ko but it later results to boredom so I'll just explain the more advanced ones. The dangerous ones.

Fire. Every world has a core and a core produces heat, it produces heat because of fire. Myself is capable of manipulating fire and heat as well as creating it. So to make it short, I can heat up the enire Zygone or a specific place in Zygone depending on what temperature I want or if I just want to speed up the effect of global warming.

The sun is also made of fire, but because of its distance I can't fully control it. Well then I guess everything truly has an exception. I can control any heat that's within Zygone, except for a person's heat. I can't control a person's heat, maybe because if Im capable of doing it I can just easily kill my enemy by raising their temperature that will lead to combulsion and death. But where's the thrill in that?

All of you probably know that water can kill fire. You're probably right but in our world, you're wrong. Elemental abilities are the most powerful abilities among the other four. Elemental abilities are capable of protecting themselves on their own and cannot be destroyed by another elemental. It can only damage the beholder of the ability and not the ability itself.

My next ability is metal. I made my metal ability as my defense mechanism, fire is my attacker. For example if a huge meteor is aiming at my location I can just make a full metal ball to protect me and the things around me. I only use this ability to protect me and the other things I want to protect.

I made this decision that my metal ability should be my main defense and my fire ability as my main attacker because as I said, if one person have more than one ability, he/she cannot use those ability at the same time for it will damage the health of the beholder.

After 8 years of practicing and memorizing all the skills, the moment has finally come. Makikita ko na sya, malapit na.

"Amethyst, change your hairstyle." Acanthus said. Oh yeah, muntik ko ng makalimutan, I need to change my hairstyle because my original one is becoming boring. So as a part of my journey, as a  part of my new life, I also planned to change my hairstyle. I want it to be black and straight. Definitely the opposite of my current style, blonde and curled. I want my appearance on the outside to be mean and fierce, not blondy or curly.

After a few hours, my hair is done. I looked at the mirror and it was gorgeous. I thanked the stylist and went back to my room.

As expected, it was jet black. The color of death and revenge.

Nagsimula na akong magempake ng mga gamit ko. I packed all of my clothes and other sentimental and important things that may be useable in my journey. After all, I won't be back for a very long time, I need all the equipments to keep me occupied.

Pagkatapos ko magempake dumiretso na ako sa kama para magpahinga. I don't care kung hindi pa ako kumakain, the journey starts tomorrow and this feeling in my stomach prevents me from swallowing even a single piece of rice. Its not because Im scared or nervous but because Im excited.

Yes, Im truly excited, 'cause the mere fact that you will eventually start your first step in finding your long lost sister makes you a hero who doesn't care of all the obstacles that will cross you because you're more focused on finding your aphrodite.

I kept trying to put myself to sleep but my body tells me not to. I want to rest. I want to gather all the strength that I need because tomorrow will be a long, long day.

Nagising ako dahil sa ingay na naririnig ko. I yawned, then I saw Divina, Christian and Acanthus sitting on my mini red sofa at the right side of the room. I supposed they're the ones who managed to wake me up with their chit-stupid-chats. And now they're looking at me like Im the most stupid thing that ever existed.

"What?" I asked them.

"You better be ready for the next five minutes because we're behind schedule, we're supposed to start at seven but look at the time. Its eight thirty. We're half an hour
late, jeez Amethyst, I thought you've been waiting all your life just for this day to come but wh--" I cut Acanthus. I thought this day will be my most happiest but his words just literally ruined it.

"Can you please shut up. Your words ruined my whole morning as well as my whole day. I thought this day will be perfect like duh, I mean, who can blame me if Im over excited and totally lost the track of time and forgot the need of sleep? Im just a typical girl who dreams to find her long lost sister for her whole entire existence and was completely over wrought because of  the joy that brought her by the mere fact that today is finally the first day to start her journey in finding her sister, her long lost piece. With that information, if you'll put yourself in my place will you be able to sleep right away and be completely lost in your own fancy-shmamsy wonderland?"

"But anyways I don't want to put this disscussion any further because like you said, we're behind schedule. So the three of you, can you guys please get out. Im going to be done at the next five minutes, ok Acanthus?"

"Im glad you're cooperating Amethyst."

"Of course I will cooperate like duh, its my most awaited time and day. And please from now on you guys can not call me Amethyst." Hindi ko pa nasasabi sa kanila na isa to sa mga kondisyon nila mom para sa gagawin naming paghahanap kay Ate Manna.

"We don't know what you're thinking Amethyst with that name changing of yours but if we can't call you 'Amethyst' then what should we?"

"Oh Acanthus, I just thought that maybe, or as a part of my journey, as a part of my new life, and also because my parents told me, for the sake of my safety. I have to change my name while we're on the outside."

"So I've decided what name you should call me."

"And what name have you decided Ms. Raveclaw?" Divina asked.

"Divina, as well as Christian, please cut the formalities, you can call me Tori." I happily announced.

"Tori-what?" They asked.

"Tori, short for Victoria Burst."
