Loss

-Character= Liah-
Alright well the fingerprints from these guys don't match the one on the scanner so it must be the guy that had the mini gun- I said and stopped walking once I reached hunter. So what? Let's just go get his body over here- Rod said and turned around, "I would've said the same if it wasn't for those" I said and about 10 weird looking wolves came out of the forest, with 10 maybe 6 foot tall creatures that had long sharp claws with each finger walk behind them. Anybody have ammo?- Rod asked and everybody said no only hunter had one arrow but it was used as a melee, "how the Fuck are we supposed to take these guys down with only knives they look intense" Jaz said. We're gonna have to team up on one of the tall creatures and take them out one by one, the wolves I'm sure won't be a problem that go down first- I said and pulled out my knife. The wolves began to charge at us and were able take them down with only Rod being bit. The other creatures just stared at us, it creeped the hell out of me. 6 foot tall human like creatures, with a leather mask, and some long ass claws. They screamed and started to charge at us with one hand over their chest and the other lined up along their leg to charge their hit. We heard sniper fire and saw one of them go down. We heard more and more until there was only 5 left. We charged at then and hunter and I teamed up on one, while Scorpion and Jaz were with another, and Rod was struggling with another. Hunter nodded at me and I ran to Rod but another creature rushed in front of me. With fear I just stabbed my knife into a small grouped up piece of loose flesh on his chest killing him. Rod saw me kill the creature with ease and then aimed for the chest...

-Character= Rod-
Once I saw Liah stab the creature's chest and it died I lift my knife back and tried to stab his chest. I felt a great pain in my stomach as I was too late to stab the creature and he stabbed me with all 5 claws in separate areas of my stomach. As his claws were tearing apart my insides he lifted me up and I felt the claws start to go up. Hunter!- I yelled and hunter pulled back an arrow on his bow and shot the creature in the chest and the creature died. Liah helped me removed the claws, 2 of them went from my stomach and through my back, while the rest just stabbed me deep. Once the claws were removed the pain didn't stop and the rest of the medical supplies were used on Jaz's arm. Everybody quickly took down the rest once they saw me. The temple! There's a shit ton of supplies there I'll make the run- Scorpion said and was about to start running, "no don't if anything once our bounty was announced they took everything or possibly rigged it" I said and coughed out blood. Then Liah will also go she's more aware of different covered things- Hunter said and Liah nodded, "no stop, I don't wanna put any of you in danger. This is my... This is my end" I said and everybody gathered around me. It was a good run... Now get out of this place and... And... Kill this son of a bitch- I said and I saw everything turn black. Then I saw the matrix code for a few seconds and woke up in some room. I turned around and saw somebody aim a gun at me, "whoever dies in the simulation dies in real life" overwatch said. I looked back to the seat I woke up on and lined up next to me were the rest of the team. I took the pistol from overwatch and punched him to the ground. I ran out of the room and saw doors leading to other subjects. I tried to find the control room and once I did I shot everybody in there. I found the surveillance of the simulation and broke the computer system. I'll see you in hell- I said as I saw overwatch at the doorway with security aiming their guns at me. I smiled, pulled up the pistol to my head, and pulled the trigger... (Character Eliminated)

-Character= Scorpion-
It was heart breaking watching a criminal that became a well trusted person die and not wanting any of us to do anything for him. I saw hunter take the band Rod had on his wrist, and put it in his backpack. We're truly sorry for your loss- the leader of a team said and they walked up to us. We didn't even bother to try to ready up for a fight. We're the ones that took down 5 of those creatures for you, we don't wanna collect your bounty we just want Rod's gadget- the leader said, "Fuck off" Jaz said and walked up to the leader. We don't want a fight- the leader said and backed up a bit, "then get the Fuck out of here" Jaz said and backed up too. The leader and his team started to leave, "we have to check that temple, and restock on supplies" Jaz said once they left. We all agreed and soon enough started to walk with each of us looking back at Rod's body. Any monster that came across us was killed in just seconds. I finally walked up to Jaz and hugged his arm as we were walking. It was just 4 of us now, sucks how the idea of escape was all Rod's and he didn't get to escape. If anything he's foresure dead in the real world. For some reason there wasn't much creatures trying to kill us anymore, Rod was probably able to take out the surveillance when he woke up in the real world. We were just about a mile away when we started to get shot by the same sniper that helped us. Son of a bitch- Hunter said and took Jaz's knife and began to sneak around. After about 5 minutes Hunter came up to us as he dragged the sniper behind him with the knife in his stomach. If Rod were still alive this would've been much easier- the man said and pulled up a gun and aimed at Liah. Hunter quickly took the gun and shot the sniper's leg then broke his arm. Jaz nodded at me and I took out my katana and slit the sniper's throat. They really want Rod's gadget, there's probably not even much people left we killed a ton and at first were burly even able to survive the first night- I said and took out the knife from the sniper's stomach and gave it to Jaz. We continued to walk with Hunter in the middle since he had Rod's gadget, took us a while to make him agree to being in the middle. We've only had a few encounters with other people and creatures but they ended up dead in seconds. We were a 4 man army, no matter how helpful Rod's gadget would've been helpful we just couldn't. The group that wants Rod's gadget won't stop hunting us down until they get it. At least they're not trying to kill us, so we think at least. We were slowly passing by Rod's death, we didn't know him for long but he helped out a lot. We haven't figured out what we were gonna do after we escaped the simulation. We finally reached the medical temple and Liah looked around for traps or pressure plates. I'm guessing she was still distracted and didn't pay much attention to traps since once I walked in I stepped on a pressure plate. On the wall straight ahead of me a patch of brick wall broke off and knives came up. As long as I don't move off the plate the knives won't launch. What the hell do I do here?- I asked in fear, "hang on" Jaz said and readied himself. Jaz dashed at me and tackled me off the pressure plate making the knives burly miss his back. Thank you- I said as he helped me up. We split up to get supplies, I was with Jaz, while Liah and Hunter were together. Jaz and I spent a few minutes exploring and for each room we found a small amount of supplies. We walked into a room and I found a pistol on the ground, I picked it up then put it in my holster. We filled up our bag with supplies and then started to walk back to the entrance.

-Character= Hunter-
Once we gathered as much supplies as we could, we walked back to the entrance and met up with the others. Ready to go?- I asked and once they nodded we walked out. About 10 people were waiting outside and started to shoot at us. I pushed Liah into cover and caught an arrow that came flying through the air. I pulled the arrow on the string of my bow and shot at one of the people. As the others took cover I caught as many arrows as I can, and Scorpion shot them with her pistol. Once Scorpion ran out of ammo the arrows stopped coming so we had no more ammo. Soon enough we saw the people begin to charge at us with machetes, knives, and katanas. Scorpion pulled out her katana while the rest pulled out their knives, and I had to fight them with my bare fists. I was the last one to rush towards the other people and soon enough we were fighting. They were the hardest people we've fought, we actually came close to getting hit. Somebody with a machete attempted to slit my throat but I ducked and kicked him away. As I heard leaves behind me being crushed I got chills down my neck and I spun around while turning left and watched the katana burly miss my head. The near miss got me a little distracted and they kicked me down and kept kicking. As I tried to resist the kicking, I saw Liah trying to hold back a knife that someone was trying to stab into her chest. Everything seemed to go in slow motion as the adrenaline began to really kick in. I quickly got up and punched one of them in the throat making him drop his machete. I picked up the machete and slit the other one's throat and stabbed it into the other. I walked up to the man that was trying to kill Liah and pulled him off. He tried stabbing my stomach but I dodged it and sliced off his hand. As he screamed from pain I just stabbed his stomach and left him to bleed out. Soon enough Liah and I were able to help take out the others. Anybody hurt?- Jaz asked aloud, "just a few bruises but I'm good" I responded and touched a bleeding bruise on my cheek. We walked back to the temple and opened up the door, I went in the closet and pressed the button. Soon enough we walked down the stairs, and holes opened up on the walls. This time 4 wolves walked out of the holes and started to charge at us. I was tackled down by one of them and had to try and hold back his head to keep him from biting my neck. I finally gripped the back of his head, and his jaw and snapped his neck. I pushed him off and kicked the one that was on top of Liah and smashed his head with my foot. I was always a dog person even though these wolves could've killed me I still felt bad for killing them. We all ended up taking the last 2 easily then 4 buttons appeared on the wall. Once we pressed it we fell into dark holes as the ground below us just suddenly moved. We all fell into a rectangle shaped room but a big ogre creature didn't come out from the ground this time.

-Character= Jaz-
There was 2 halves of the room with our team on one side and different sized cylinder like containers. Reapers came out of the containers there was about 30 of them. We had nothing except for knives, no ammo, Hunter had nothing so we focused on protecting him. The reapers charged at us, some just running, others crawling on the walls, and others on the roof. I took out my knife and started to charge towards 3 of them. I stabbed one's head but my knife got stuck and the other 2 clawed at me until I fell on the ground. All I felt was burning across my body from the cuts. I then saw hunter come up behind one and stab it with the knife I left in the other reaper's head. He quickly stabbed the other and killed them. The burning around my body didn't let me stand up so Hunter dragged me to a wall and gave me my knife. Hey, thanks Hunter, take this and protect Liah- I said as I hand hunter my knife. Hunter nodded and started to run towards Liah which was being surrounded by 5 Reapers with Scorpion.

-Character= Scorpion-
I seriously thought it was the end for Liah and I, if not both of us. I remembered Rod's death which began to engage me then I saw Jaz against the wall with scratches all over him. I held my katana ready and sliced the head off of the closest Reaper and the rest began to move faster towards us. Liah was tackled and her knife slid away. I stabbed the Reaper and helped her up. I stabbed one's head and Liah kicked one in the face and ducked down as I turned around and sliced it's head off. Hunter tackled the last one and stabbed it's head. Us 3 against 22 more reapers that were just lined up on the other half of the room. Everybody new it was our end, "it was a pleasure fighting with you all" I said loud enough for even Jaz to hear. Every single Reaper began to charge at us, I felt a chill go down my spine then saw Jaz line up next to us. Hoorah!- Jaz yelled and we all started to charge at the Reapers. I sound around while aiming my katana upwards to try and stab as many as possible. I was quickly tackled down and so were the rest. I felt extreme pain and then everything went black. I started to see the matrix code then soon enough felt the air of a cold room.
