Its 2am and I can't sleep so I'm gunna finish this to distract myself.

The sun had been up for about an hour and Josh was just beginning to drive through parts of the next town.

He passed by a gas station, glancing at the meter to see that Tyler had already stopped the night before and they had plenty of fuel to reach their destination.

He heard a soft yawn from the back of the van and a smile crept onto his face. Everything Tyler did was small and quiet and just plain adorable.

He glanced at the rear view mirror and watched Tyler sit up, rub his eyes, and run a hand through his messy brown hair.

"Morning, Ty." Josh hummed, eyes flicking back to the road.

"Morning, Josh. Where are we?" Tyler smiled and looked around at the buildings.

"Texas. Not too far from Houston actually. You hungry?" Josh asked looking back at his best friend.

Tyler climbed up into the passengers seat, still taking in his surroundings.
"Yeah I'm starving."

"Okay well I will pull into the next coffee place I see and we can get something there. Have you heard anything from Mark?" Josh asked, scanning the town for a cafe.

Tyler grabbed his phone from the cup holder he left it in last night and checked it.

"Yeah he says they made it and to call him when we are close. Eh. I'll just text him." Tyler mumbled.

Josh laughed. "Lazy much dude?"

"Josh my sleeping schedule is way too inconsistent for me to care about laziness." Tyler retorted.

"True. Oh hey look!"
He pointed to a small cafe on the right side of the road. He pulled into the parking lot and Tyler slipped his phone in his pocket.

The boys jumped out of the car and went inside quickly. Tyler sat at a table near the window and waited for Josh to order their stuff and come sit down.

Once everything was sorted out, the two sat and ate their breakfast in silence for a few moments.

Tyler glanced up at Josh and noticed he had been staring. Tyler's cheeks flushed and his gaze dropped down to his plate.
"Josh you know I get uncomfortable when people stare at me while I eat."

Josh reached for his coffee.
"Sorry I just...zoned out I guess." He grinned and took a sip.

Tyler giggled and set his fork down on his empty plate.

"So I'm glad you pulled off to the side last night instead of trying to keep driving." Josh began.
"I would rather be late to a show than in the hospital because you were too tired to drive." He met Tyler's eyes again and smiled.

"Yeah I was real tired and plus you just looked so comfortable back there." He laughed softly.

"Ah so you only pulled over to cuddle with me? Okay fine fair enough." A smug grin formed on Josh's face and Tyler's mouth dropped open.

"Joshua Dun I swear to god. I was just tired and it was really cold okay jeez."

Josh put his hands up in defence.
"Hey I'm not complaining dude. I mean you are one hell of a little spoon."
