I feel the heavy blankets wrapped around my naked body and I snuggle deeper into the warmth. Sunlight is beginning to peek through the thin curtains covering the window in our room. A rough but gentle hand holds onto my waist bringing me closer. I lean back into the love of my life, feeling his chest rise and fall with every breath. I place my small hand on top of his and bring his hand to my other side as I turn around to face him. His blonde hair covers his closed eyes and I gently move it out of his face. I kiss his forehead lightly and snuggle deeper into his arms.
