The next day after the ' incident ' about the chamber, everyone was back to normal as if it had never happened. Transfiguration was the last class we had for today until we could finally rest. Today we were learning about how to transform animals into water goblets.
Mcgonagall demonstrated on a black bird that turned into a decent water goblet. She had called Weaseley to try but his wand had a defect causing the rat to turn into a semi- goblet. Some people found it funny however Tara, Ari, Drea and I found it weird and gross.
" Professor I was wondering if you could tell us about the chamber of secrets? " Granger asked Mcgonagall. Mcgonagall was taken back from her question as she glanced at us, students.
" You all know of course that Hogwarts was found over a thousand years ago by the four greatest withches and wizards of the age : Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rownena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. Three of the founders coexisted quite harmoniusly. One did not. Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to hogwarts. He believed magical learning should be kept within all magic families. In other words pure bloods. Unable to swat the others, he decided to leave the school. Now according to legend Slytherin had built a hidden chamber in the castle known as the Chamber of Secrets. Though shortly before departing, he sealed it until that time when his own true heir returned to the school. The heir alone would be able to open the Chamber and unleash the horror whithin and by so doing purge the school of all those who in Slytherins view were unworthy to study magic. " Mcgonagall explained
" Muggle borns." Granger said
" Naturally the school has been searched many times but no such chamber has been found " Mcgonagall said in a way that she kind if felt hopeless.
" What exactly does legend tells us lie in the chamber? " Granger asked once more
" The chamber is said to be he home to something that only the heir of Slytherin can control..... It is said to be the home of a monster. " Mcgonagall finally said. The rest of Transfiguration we had just practiced on how to transform the animal into a goblet.
* walks to the common room *
We sat on the couches as we rested for the rest of the day.
" Does anyone here know about the chamber?? " I asked
" I had owled father about this last night. He told me that the last time the chamber was opened, a muggleborn died. " Draco explained
" Do you know who opened it?? " Goyle asked
" You know I don't Goyle. I don't think anyone knows. " Draco explained
It was nearing December so it was a bit chilly so I got up and snuggled into Draco.
" Are you cold?? " He asked as I nodded
He then wrapped his arms around me as I read about the Polyjuice Potion that we needed for the essay due on monday. It was pretty much like this for the next hour until I saw Miles Bletchley, the keeper pass by in his Quidditch uniform. Didn't that mean that Draco had practice too??
I nudged Draco's side as he seemed to fall asleep. He then groggily opened his eyes as I started to poke him.
" What do you want Ash?? " He asked as he started to close his eyes again until I poked him again
