A little later the rat had chewed through the Princess's rope enough, for her to loosen them and escape. The Princess then undid everyone else, even the tiny ropes keeping Glenda down. The Princesss looked there was a thick locked door between them and the outside.

'Ok Cat' she said 'we are going to set you free. I want you to get the keys outside and let us out.'

'How am I to do that?' said the quantum cat. While flying boy undid the string on the cats collar.

'Cat run towards the door everyone else shut your eyes. One two, three' said the Princess.

'I'm still here' said the cat.

'Stop peeking!' said the Princess.

While everyone wasn't looking, the cat returned to his quantum self. He was in many places at once, he even bumped into him self. One of the places he ended up was on the other side of the thick metal door. There was a narrow gap under the door and the Princess looked outside making the cat become solid again.

Now outside the cat was free. He looked about, they were in a tower with a small window on one side, the thick door to the prison cell and a staircase leading up and down.

The cat laughed. 'Haha I'm free, that feels good. So long stilly people' the cat said walking towards the staircase. He was free to go back to the beef eaters to the Kings horses and Kings men.

He looked back at the Princesse's eye looking out through the gap between the door. He couldn't make up his mind. Then he turned around and found the key hanging on a hook near the cell. Jumping up he grabbed the key and slid it under the door to the Princes.

The door clicked unlocked and opened.

'Hurray', the rat said in triumph, 'cat you saved us!'

'OK we rescue the Princess e,ven if she doesn't want it then we get home OK?' the Princess announced as the door swung open. Everyone agreed.

Suddenly there was a cry.

'HELP' said the cat.

'The cat!' the rodent scholar shouted rushing to the window.

The rat ran out of the prison cell, to see the cat was hanging on to the bars outside the window. The rat rushed up jumped up to the window and grabbed the cat's whiskers.

'Oww!' the cat said.

'How did you get there?' the rat asked as he pulled with all his tiny might at the thin whiskers.

'Always with the questions' the cat said 'you stopped looking at me you fools'

'Don't worry' said the rat pulling harder 'I won't let go'

The others arrived and tried to help, but then the whiskers cat's pulled one by one from the cat's face. Then the cat began to fall.

'Owwwww!' said the cat in pain then 'o!WWWWW' as he realised he was falling.

'Don't look' said the rat covering his eyes.

The cat screamed as he fell then everything went silent.

'Poor thing' said the rat with a slight tear. The cat was gone.

'Poor cat, ah ah har tissue' said the clockwork princess. As she sneezed a tiny cog went flying out of her nose.

'Not again' said the rat as he ran off to get the tiny yellow brass cog. The rat ran off after it and brough it back.

Seconds later they heard some foot steps coming up the stairs. It was the quantum mechanical cat.
