I walked into the restaurant. The air smelled sweet, like sugar. There were black roses painted on the pure white walls. The tables were black, with white tablecloths. No one was sitting at the tables, however.

“Hello miss! Welcome to Angelically Demonic!” The peppy feminine voice came from behind the counter.

I turned around to see a short teenage girl standing at the counter. She had a big smile and big blue eyes. However, she also had a pair of big blue horns sticking out of her long gray hair.

“Oh, you must be Akumu! Pleased to meet you!” She happily said. “Well, don't just stand there! Come over here and buy something.”

“Ok, but I have no money so...” I said, as I walked to the counter. The counter was made of glass, and filled with yummy foods, such as mini chocolate cakes, cookies, you name it. It was like a bakery. No, It was a bakery!

“Really? How s surprising! You're famous here, and you have no money! You know, if you want to, I can offer you a job as a waitress here. Were one girl down. It'd be great publicity for us, plus you can live here, and eat our food. Deal?” The girl said to me.

I couldn't believe my ears. I haven't said twenty words to this girl and she offers me a job?

“What's the catch?” I suspiciously asked.

“Nothing. Well, to tell you the truth, my boss told me a while ago that if anyone came over here who's famous, offer them a job. I've been rejected so many times by the stars of hell...” She said, with a hint of sadness.

Well, I get free food, free living space, and a job with money. It can't get any better than that!

“My boss also absolutely adores angels. He's already hired four others.

Apparently, it does get better.

“Deal!” I said, shaking her hand.

“Great! You can start tomorrow, but you can have your room now.” She said. “By the way, my names Hana! It's nice to meet you!”

“Nice to meet you to!” I replied.

I heard the door open. It actually scared me for some reason, so I looked to see who it was.

“Oh, hey Ren! Look who I hired! Isn't she just adowable?” Hana said in a cute voice.

I immediately regretted accepting this job. Ren did save me from the creepy scaled lady, but he scared me. He was a demon, after all. But Hana didn't scare me.

“Akumu! How are you doing on this lovely day? I already know the answer. Great is the answer!” He said cheerfully. He was still...shirtless.........

“I hired her! Can I get a promotion now?” She asked him.

“Sure!” He said.

“Yay!!” She happily replied.

Great. Hana is a friend of the shirtless weirdo. I thought.

Hana and Ren talked about how much her raise should be, so I thought of sneaking out while I still had a chance. Life in this bakery would be worse then living in lava.

“Hey, Akumu! Where are you doing?” Ren called out, as I stood next to the exit.

Crap.

“Nothing...” I said.

“If your not busy, then why don't you try on the store uniform? I'd love to see you in it!” He said, eying me up.

“O-Ok...” I stuttered. The way he looked at me creeped me out.

“Here, let me find one that'll fit you...” Hana said, going into a separate room behind the counter.

A few minutes later, I wore a black maids costume. The frilly apron had a black roses all over it.

It was really low in the front.

“Hana? W-what is this?” I stuttered.

“Your uniform, silly!” She answered.

“Then why aren’t you wearing it?” I said, remarking the simple blue dress she wore.

“Well, I'm not an angel. Ren made the angels uniforms special. What a weirdo.” She said.

“Why doesn't he wear a shirt?” I asked.

“I'll bet he's showing off his body!” She said.

Weird, but probably true.

“You do realize that I'm standing behind you both, right?” A voice erupted from behind Hana and I.

And there stood Ren.

“R-Ren!” Hana said, while super mega blushing.

“Women these days...Tsk. That uniform looks great on you, Akumu.” He said playfully.

“Ahh...T-thanks?” I replied to his comment. I was also most likely blushing up a storm.

“Hana, show Akumu to her room. I'll be out for another couple hours or so on business. You got the katana back from Umi?”He asked.

“Yea. It's over there, in that box.” Hana pointed to “That box.”

“Thanks.” Ren went over to the box. He pulled out a long, sharp katana.

“Be careful, ok?” Hana said, sounding a bit worried.

“It's a B-Level job, Hana, don't worry.” He said, opening the exit door.

“Alright. Bye!” Hana said.

“Goodbye, Hana. And goodbye, Akumu.” He said, walking out.

“Well, that was embarrassing.” Hana said, looking downward.

“Yea. Hey, what were you guys talking about earlier?” I asked. Their conversation had greatly confused me.

“Oh, Ren's a a demon hunter. He gets em' and gets money for killing them.” She said.

“What?!?” I didn't see that one coming. “But he himself is a demon!”

“So? I do A little hunting on the easy ones, the A-Level jobs.” She said, sounding a little offended.

“Oh, sorry. I didn't know.” I said.

“No problem. Hunting pays well here. We hunt the overly crazy ones. Only a few can do it. You should look into it sometime!” She suggested.

“Eh? Why?” I asked. I couldn't kill a fly if I wanted to, so I defiantly couldn't kill a demon.

“You've got the demons mark on your arm! Only the best have that mark, so you've got to be at least a tad bit good at it!” She said energetically.

I just shrugged my shoulders.

“Ok then. After I'm done showing you you're new room, were going on a A-Level quest!” Hana said cheerfully.
