“Can’t believe your leaving for two months…”  Megan said sadly sitting on my bed. Megan was my best friend since I moved in this place, she was also my next door neighbor.

“I will be back before you know it.” I said from my closet, grabbing two sets of bikinis. “Plus you have Aaron.” Walking out from my closet and throwing them in my suit case.

“Yeah but it won’t be the same.”

“Sure it will.”

“Mmmmm, anyway Tyler is going to flip when he see’s you!” Her mood completely changes from being down to excited.

“I know right.” I said smiling. I went over to my full length mirror behind my door. I was different from last year. I got my braces off before summer started, I switch to contacts and fund out that there so much better than glasses, I grew two inches, which is a big deal for me and I finally had curves. Everything about me is different.

I was leaving early tomorrow for California, were my summer job was. I can’t wait to get out of this rainy state! I live In Washington half of my life and I still haven’t got use to it.

“Gawd, why do you wait for the last minute to pack?” Asked Megan.

“I don’t know….” I said walking back to my closet. “How many shorts should I bring?” I asked her.

“All of it.”

 “I won’t have room”

This time I decided to bring a suit case and a carryon bag for the plane.

 “Fine, then five.”

 “Alright."

It was ten minutes after seven pm when I finish packing and it felt good knowing I have everything I need, packed.

 *knock, knock*

 “Come in!” I shouted.

“Hi girls.” My mom says with a smile. “Megan, are you going to stay for dinner?”

“No Mrs. Ford, I have to attend a family dinner tonight.” She smiles to my mom.

“Oh ok, dinner in five minutes, Marinna.”  Than my mom was gone.

“I have to go now; I still have to get ready.” Megan said, getting up from my bed. “Be safe in California” Giving me a tight hug.

“Yeah, yeah, and your suffocating me!” I yell, trying to breathe under her tight brace.

“Hahahah. See you in two months Marinna.”

 “Bye Megs, I'll miss you!”

Than she was gone.

I walked back to my room, my dad makes the best foods.

When I got back to my room, my phone started ringing.

 ---Austin Force calling---

“Hey Austin!”

“Hey Marinna!”

“Tomorrow’s it.” I said “I’m super excited.” Smiling to him, even though he can’t see.

“Yeah I know you are, you been telling me the past couple days.” He laughs.

Austin’s grandparents own Camp Force so he has been working there since he was thirteen.

“Not my fault!” I laid down on my bed.

“I’m super excited to see you again.” He said in a low voice.

“Yeah me too, it’s been so long.”

“I know, way too long.”

“Mhmhmh.” I agreed.

He always calls me at night and we would talk until one of us falls asleep. It’s kind of are routine since summer ended last year.

*Yawns*

“Someone’s tired.” Austin said from the other side of the line.

“Yeah..” I said half asleep.

He laughs. “Go to bed Marinna, you have to get up early tomorrow, remember?”

“No…I’m not tired.” I said slowly.

“Just a second ago, you agreed that you were tired.” He states.

“Crap, alright, goodnight Austin!”

“Oh Marinna?” He asks.

“Yes?”

“I won…again.” I had a feeling he was smiling at himself.

“Whatever cheater.” I laugh.

“Hey, I always play fair and square.”

“Sure, hahah, goodnight.”

I hang up before we would start a new conversation. I dose off in two minutes.
