The sun was going down as everyone was surrounding the bound fire by the beach. We always do in the beginning and the end of the job. Ryan was playing on his guitar as we listen. It was so peaceful. I was seating by Austin and Vanessa and the whole time I could feel Tyler kept looking over.

Austin leans and whispers in my ear, “Do you want to take a walk?” He asks.

“Sure.” I immediately reply, I love taking walks especially by the beach while the sun was setting. So breathe taking.

For the first couple minutes while walking, Austin didn’t speak one bit. Which was rare because last summer or over the phone, he wouldn’t stop talking.

“Is everything fine?” I ask. “You been quite which is kinda scaring me.”

“Everything’s fine, it’s just that it’s different to be around you.” He replies, looking whats ahead from him, kicking some sand around.

“I’m still the same Marinna.”

“I know.” Looking at me and smiles.

We climb a cliff at the end of the beach, we always come here every night and watch the sunset and talk for hours about anything and everything.

“Wow, I miss this.” Sitting on a rock.

“I do to.” He seats down next to me and I could feel his body heat. “So do you still has the hots for my brother?”

I was shock that he still remembers. I look over and he was grinning, his eyes showed he was playing around. “Um no..” I felt my cheeks burning.

“Then why are your cheeks turning the shade of a tomato?” He questioned.

I playfully push him. “No, I’m so over him.” Looking away from his gaze, if I didn’t, he would know I was lying.

“Hey it’s alright if you do.” He laughs. “He broke up with his girlfriend a month ago.”

“Why?” I ask, I wanted to know. “Wait, which one?” I roll my eyes.

“The same one actually. She cheated on him..."

“I knew that girl was trouble.” Shaking my head.

*Flashback to last summer."

It was the last night of the job before I headed home and me and Austin got into an argument.

I I was piss so I decided to take a walk by the beach. Usually I would take walks with Austin but obviously I didn’t want to be nowhere near him.

When I was seating at the walk board, I could feel someones persistent.

“Marinna what are you doing here, by yourself? Why isn’t Austin with you?” Tyler asks.

I look behind me for a second and turn back. I felt the bench moving while he seats down. He wasnt wearing anything but swimming trunks.

Damn those abs.

“Just wanted to be here, Austin was busy so..” Hoping my lie was good enough.

“Really? That’s a first.” There was silence for a moment. “Wait..I’m not convince. What’s really wrong?” Damn his good.

“Austin was right, nobody could lie to you.” I say surprisingly. Tyler and I would talk once in a while but this was probably the first time we actually talk one on one.

“One of my special talents.” He smiles to himself. That gorgeous smile.

He softly nudges me. “Now whats the real reason?” He says in a low tone.

The side of mouth curve, giving him a small smile. “Me and Austin are in a fight.”

“Why?”

“It's nothing..really.”

“Oh, well, whatever it is, I’m sure you guys will fix it. Your friendship is too strong for a silly fight.” He crosses his arms across his chest.

“Thanks Tyler, that made me feel a little better.”

“Being sarcastic now?” making a cute face.

“No.” I laugh. “I really mean it.”

“Good.” He says softly.

We stared into each other’s eyes. His light blue eyes were like the sky and lips were so tempting.

Then suddenly, his lips crushed into mine. I was shocked and didn’t know what to do; this was the first time someone kissed me. He moved his lips so I followed. His lips tasted so good like I imagined. I felt his hands on my back than a couple seconds later, he pulls back.

“Um..I didn’t mean to..ah, I got to go. Bye Marinna, I probably won’t see you tomorrow morning but ah..bye.” He says without looking at me.

Than he was gone, just like that. That asshole just stole my first kiss and he just left. Great, another problem.

*End of flashback.

That was last summer, the second year of working in Camp force. It was the summer of going in to my my junior year.

"You ok Marinna?" Austins ask sounding worried.

"Yeah im fine."
