Recap:
"Hole crap" is all I can say.
•••
"Kelsey help me push him off of me." I say struggling to do by myself.
"Okay" Kelsey says helping me. She is a lot stronger than me even though I do sports. The guy was roughly 175 to 200 pounds.

We finally get him off and I stand up to get a good look at him....well what's left of him.

His head was deformed and bloody and his body was rotting and his clothes were destroyed. He honestly looked and sounded like one of the zombies you would read about in a book. Only that wasn't real life.

"Holy crap Kelsey did you just kill him?" I asked afraid of what she was going to say back.

Kelsey turned to me her face almost emotionless and I could tell she was thinking about what she was going to say.

Then she said "I don't think you can kill something what's already dead" she said starting now to smirk.

"Don't say that he was probably alive... once" I say glaring at her for making a joke when we are in this situation.

But this is Kelsey we are talking about. Kelsey is one of the kind of people where they make jokes all of the time, and you half to admit that they are funny most of the time even when they are not needed.

Because they help you even when you are sad or mad and yeah. I don't know what I would do without her by my side in this situation.

There was a noise suddenly snapping me out of my rant which I could have continued for a while because it's about Kelsey and there is always something to say about that girl. So back to the point I snapped out of it and I looked up and almost screamed.

"Kelsey we need to get out of here" I say pointing at the herd of people like that zombie man coming at us.

Kelsey turned back after looking that way. She said quietly "stay calm and come this way."
...

We found a door that will get us out of the building in a alley. We stepped out and found that the alley was a mess there was garbage, blood and peoples remains on the ground. Along with a couple people who looked fresh as in killed recently.

We started walking towards the road at the end of the alley when I noticed something important.

"Kelsey we don't even have any weapons or anything" I say turning back to her.

"So" Kelsey replies. She obviously doesn't seem nervous about the fact that we have nothing to defend ourselves.

"So if this is seriously a freaking zombie apocalypse. We need weapons to defend ourselves so we done have what happened back then happening again." I say acting like I have a plan even though I am scared right now.

I look at Kelsey in a way so she knows I'm serious about what I'm talking about.

"Okay let's look around and see if we can find anything in this alleyway that we are in." Kelsey replies walking back to where we came and she started to looking around.

All I found when I looked was a wallet and a set of keys. I decided I would keep the set of keys just in case we really needed them.

"Jackpot" I heard Kelsey say. She sounded excited about something.
I ran over to see what she got from our scavenging session that lasted 6 minutes.

"Now we do have weapons" Kelsey says grinning. I look down in her hands and she is holding a medal pipe and a pocket knife that I assume she found somewhere in the beginning of the alley.

"Well I found these keys" I say smirking. She laughs well "I can be a plumber"
