Summary: Mabel and Pacifica go trick or treating on Summerween

Mabel's POV

A day later, I was on my bed constantly calling Pacifica. "Pas, come overrr," I whined again into the receiver, "You have to try on the outfit so I can be sure it fiiiiiittts!"

I heard a sigh and a "Fine, Mabel, be there in 15." I squealed, nearly falling off my bed, scaring Waddles. I hugged him, getting up and running around the house.

Dipper woke up, groggy, "Mabel what time is it?"

I laughed, "It's 9 you lazy butt. Plus, this is your fault anyways~" I sang, determined to get him back for making me go through all this trouble.

He sighed, "I'm sorry, Mabel, but it's kinda important to say bye to Wendy. It's not my fault that Summerween is the day she wanted to throw her 'going away to college' party."

I puffed my cheeks out and walked over to his bed, laying down on top of his stomach. He groaned, pushing me off and getting up. He threw a shirt on over his usual tank top that he wore to bed.

Oh crap, I was still in my tank top and gym shorts! I scrambled to get a yellow sweater on with the "Twitter" bird on it and "Nice to tweet you". I put on a teal skirt to match the bird and my usual black flats before grabbing the outfit and running downstairs to wait.

I could hardly contain myself from jumping up as soon as the doorbell rang. I took a breath, got up, and jogged to the door, a grin on my face.

Pacifica's POV

As usual, when the door opened I was smashed into a hug. I laughed and hugged her back. Mabel was just so... nice. I buried my face into her comfy sweater before pulling away.

"Hi Mabel, nice to see you. So, before you die of anxiety, where's the outfit that you want me to try on?"

She jumped up, grabbing the sleeve of my white cardigan. I couldn't help but smile as I was pulled up the wooden stairs. "Okay, Pas, one sec."

She went into her closet and pulled out a knee-length white dress and a shoulder that had red and white straps. Was that a milk dress? Then, she pulled out a matching brown dress with spots of darker brown without a strap. Oh, duh, cookies and milk.

Mabel looked at me, eyes shining, "So, I was thinking I could be the cookie and you could be the milk? I mean, I have brown hair so it kind of makes more sense I think? But you can be whichever."

I nodded, "They're both awesome so milk is fine. Did you make these?"

She nodded proudly, her hand on her hip. "Okey-dokey, time for you to try it on. I already know mine fits, I tried it on as soon as it was done."

That made a lot of sense. Guess I have to change, "So, where's the bathroom?"

Mabel rolled her eyes lightly and smiled, "It's fine, Pas. We're both girls, just change here. Dipper's watching this mystery show downstairs right now, so he won't bug us for the next 15 minutes."

I felt my face heat up. Right here? She could see everything if she changed right here. I opened my mouth to object but Mabel turned her back, "It's cool, I won't look."

I guess that was that... I got changed and turned around, "Mabel, I'm ready."

She turned around and gasped, "Aghhh! You're so cute in it! It's a little short though... is it okay? I was going based off of my measurements but you're a bit taller than me..."

I nodded, "I could always add some leggings if I needed to."

She laughed, hugging me again, "This is gonna be fun! Even if Dipping Sauce isn't gonna be there..." She trailed off kind of sadly, looking at me for reassurance.

I patted her shoulder before looking at the time, "Oh, I only have like 10 more minutes before I have to go for tennis practice. What do you wanna do until then?"

Mabel nodded, "Magazines with music blaring?"

I laughed, covering my mouth with my hand, "Magazines with music blaring."

And that's what we did.
