In Disguise

Chapter 10

(Still) Zayn's POV

I closed the door behind me. My house was 15-20 minutes away from Jasmine's. I made my way out of her street and on to the main road. 

There I saw a beautiful girl walking just across the street from me. She had purple hair and big, nice eyes. 

She looked at me and smiled. 

My heart fluttered. 

She walked over to me. 

"Hi." She said nervously.

"Hi." I replied. She looked better and clearer, now that she's in front of me. 

"I didn't catch your name." She giggled adorably. 

I laughed. "It's Zayn." My accent sounded so Bradford(y).

"Mine's Perrie." She replied. 

I glanced at my watch and widened my eyes. It's nearly 7 o'clock!

"Listen I have to go, it would be nice if we could get to know each other some other day?" I asked. 

"Yeah. Here's my number." She handed me a piece of paper. 

I put it in my pocket. I quickly wrote down my number and gave it to her. 

"Bye." I said.

"Bye Zayn!" She said and walked off. 

Her beauty struck me like lightning. 

Then another thing struck in my mind. 

Jasmine! 

What do I do? 

I guess I have to sort something out.

I ran home. I knocked on my door. Someone opened it. 

"Hi mum." I said looking at her.

"Where have you been?" She asked worriedly.

"A friend's house. Sorry I forgot to tell you." I explained.

"You scared me to death! Please tell me next time! And anyways, how's your day been?" She asked me.

"Great thanks. What about yours?" I asked. 

Perrie flashed through my head once again. 

"....So yeah." My mum finished off. 

I just smiled as I didn't really pay attention to what she had said. I ran up to my room. 

My phone flashed a couple of times, telling me I had a new text message. I had two.

One from Jasmine.

The other from Perrie.

I opened up Perrie's message. 

P: This is Zayn right? Xx

I smiled. She still remembered my name. I replied back instantly.

Z: Yeah babe it is Xx

I sent it to her. Jasmine sent me another message. I think I was in love with Jasmine. Was. I don't think I am now. Maybe Perrie's the one for me?

But how do I break it to Jasmine? We just started dating!

What have I gotten myself into?
