"Princess Princess Princess!!! I hate when people call me that!!!" I say to my knight. "Y/N you need to realize that you are royalty. Of course people are going to call you Princess." He says back to me in that voice I've always loved. "But Garroth!! Mom and Dad even call me princess!! Levin, Lillith, and Malachi do too!!" I whine. "Well, King Laurance and Queen Aphmau are you're parents and even if you weren't royalty most parents do call their kids prince and princess." He said once again in his voice that I've always really liked. Okay so maybe I have a tiny crush on Garroth. Okay a HUGE crush! He's just always been there for me even before he was a knight. "I know that! But they don't know how much work and responsibility comes with being a princess!" I whine again. "Look Y/N, let's change the topic. You know you're parents are looking for someone for you to marry, right?" He asked I just stare at him with my mouth open. My parents never told me about this. I practically freak out. "They are what now?" I ask. "Um... You didn't know?" He asked. "Yea I totally knew and I'm just freaking out now." I say sarcastically. "Of course I didn't know!!" I scream. "Oh..." He says. "W-well h-have you ever t-t-thought about I-it?" He stutters. "I mean... I have but, I don't think he likes me back..." I say slightly disappointed. "C-can y-you t-tell m-me who?" He stutters again. "Um... No but I can give you hints! He stutters, he has blonde hair, blue eyes, sweet, caring, shy... And he's a knight." I mutter the last words. "And he's a what?" He asks "A knight." I mutter again. "What?! I can't hear you!" He says again. "A KNIGHT!!!" I scream. His face turns a crimson red (he doesn't wear his helmet). "D-does his n-name s-start w-with a G and e-end w-with a H?" He stutters again. I nod. His face turns even darker. "I HAVE TO GO FEED MY CAT!!!" He screams and runs off. "But Garroth you don't have a cat!!" I scream to him. He just keeps running and doesn't turn back. I sit down on a rock and sigh. "I should've known he'd never like me back." I sigh and throw a rock at the ground. I feel tears fall down my face. I sit there staring into space feeling like an idiot until I feel a hand on my back. I look up and see my oldest brother, Malachi. (Okay so Malachi is oldest, Levin is second oldest, Lillith is third oldest and you are the youngest) He rubs my back and it calms me down a bit. "What's wrong?" He asks. "I-It's n-nothing..." I lied. "You can tell me anything. After all I am your brother." He says. My favorite sibling has always been Malachi because he's always been there for me. "Fine. Well do you remember how I told you that I liked Garroth?" I ask. He nods. "Well, he told me mom and dad were looking for us to marry people and I kinda freaked out. He asked if I had ever thought about it and I told him..." I said. I felt more tears sting the brims of my eyes. "Wait, mom and dad want us to marry people? Are they forced?" He asked. "I don't really know... But I hope not." I say. I sigh again and look at my feet. "Malachi, can I ask you something?" I ask in a tone that he always says yes to. "Of course." He replies. "Well, I've told you my crush, so can you tell me yours?" I ask. His face turns a light shade of pink. OMI! He's blushing! "Um... I like Alexis..." He says shyly. I do a fist pump in the air. "Yesssss!!! My ship is sailing!! #AlexichiFTW!!!" I scream. "Shhhhhh!!!!" He says putting a finger over my mouth. "Why don't you go talk to Garroth again?" He suggests. I nod and say "Only if you talk to Alexis." He sticks out his hand and says "Deal!" We shake on it and we head off in different directions.
I walked pretty much everywhere but, I just can't find him! I walk by the lake and see blonde headed man sitting by it. I run over to him and tap him on the back. He turns around and I see Garroth. His face turns red and he turns around. "Garroth! I'm sorry!!" I say. He mumbles under his breath something that I can't hear. "What was that?" I ask. "You shouldn't be." He says. "Why shouldn't I be?! I made you embarrassed!! I'm surprised you're even talking to me!!" I say. He turns around and stands up. "You know how earlier you basically admitted that you liked that person?" He says. I nod. "Well.., is it me?" He asked. I nod again but this time I look down at my feet. He lifts my chin up so that I'm staring into his ocean blue eyes and him into my E/C eyes. "I've always felt the same way for you." He says. "Wait, so you like me?" I ask. He nods. "And you like me?" He asks. I nod. "So you wouldn't mind if I do this?" He asks. "Do wh--" I was cut off by his lips meeting mine. I was shocked at first but eventually melted into it. He pulls away and smiles. I smile back. "Y/N, will you be my princess and nobody else's?" He asks staring into my eyes. "Yes!" I say hugging him. We walk off towards the castle, our hand gently intertwined.
