It was field day at EDS.
Bennett's POV
All of the popular guys stood in a circle right before the tug of war. It was my call. "Alright. The girls will put up a fight. But, I have a secret weapon." Taft gave me a look. "They might give us a fight, but what's the plan?" I filled all of the guys in, then called over all of the other boys to explain my plan to them.
Ellie's POV
My favorite time of field day. The tug-of-war. Emma isn't really athletic, so Madi and I knew that this was our game. All of the guys huddled up while we stood there like idiots. Finally they were ready.
Calli's POV
We grabbed the rope. I grabed a spot in the middle, not wanting to seem in charge. I don't do tug-of-war. We all started tugging and pulling, but the boys were automatically ahead. Then, all of the girls' adrenaline kicked in. Soon enough, we got ahead! We were almost at our winning point, when they let go.
Madi's POV
They freaking let go of the rope! We all fell to the ground, except for Audrey and Emma Grace. They both hit their heads on a pole. Atleast I fell on my butt instead of hitting my head on a pole like they did.
Audrey's POV
I have no clue who won the tug-of-war. But, that was the least of my worries. While all of the other girls fell to the ground on their butts, Emma Grace and I fell forward and hit our heads on a pole! I knew by their snickering faces that it was all Bennett's idea so the boys could win. Why did they have to cheat?
